Premier Inn Dumfries

Great place to stop of at, safe parking, fuel station near by, good restaurant with lovely staff. We will definitely stay there again. Brilliant.

Good location on the outskirts of Dumfries just off a main road but shielded by trees from traffic noise. We had a very comfortable stay in a spacious first floor room. Friendly and effecient staff at reception and breakfast. Angela at breakfast was always on hand with suggestions and to help out. Hope to be back!

Such a lovely welcoming place to stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Georgia. Rooms were clean and tidy and well stocked. Food in restaurant was very good and the staff were also very attentive and helpful Great place to stay to visit surrounding areas or on way to or from ferries

Shabby and dirty. The headboard was stained and I had to ask for new sheets due to bloodstains. The young lady in the morning listened to this request with an expression of disgust, at our request as opposed to the blood stained sheets. On top of this we have been travelling all week and staying at Premier Inns all over the country during Pride month. I guess in Scotland there's less pride as there was nothing on display at all. It's a small token gesture that makes us feel that bit safer in unknown towns. My only positive note was the attention and service of the breakfast staff, well to be more specific, Angela 👍 she was so informative of the local area and gave us some good ideas for our morning plans. Hire more Angela's! Well, we're off to the next premier inn further north, wish us luck 🤞

Angela was nice, warm and welcoming when we came down for breakfast. There weren’t any available 7 seats for our big family but Angela was so generous and kindly showed us a big table. Very helpful and very kind person! we really enjoyed our experience being here at Dumfries premier inn.

My stay started with a call to the hotel to request a quiet room as I was working rubbish hours. I spoke to Georgina on the phone and she was really helpful with my request. On arrival Georgina was on reception and the happy voice matched the smiley face. With a small warning of be careful what you wish for I found my room at most certainly the quietest spot in the hotel. I can certainly say I got my steps in…….. Not being able to make breakfast with my rubbish hours I was given a very hearty pickup to take with me although I might add a small carton of milk would have been a lovely add on. Up to the end of my stay the ladies on reception were outstanding and thank you for doing what you do Georgina and crew.
