Bridge Farm Guesthouse Rooms

Bed was comfy sheets were clean , pretty garden , easy check in No hot water , shower was cieling was clearly painted over badly from moisture /leak damage , no Internet, no fan in the summer heat , cobwebs in the room and a couple spiders , microwave but no cutlery , Coffee provided was out of date Not bed and breakfast just a bed Not bad in a pinch but missing some standard stuff that was a bit of a let down,

We booked this last minute because we were travelling from Bristol airport early the next day. I read some of the reviews and they didn't sound good . We were quite apprehensive.. . We even took our own toilet paper because we read there wasn't any ! There's nothing wrong with it ! It was clean .it had all the facilities tea .coffee. milk etc. A microwave if you needed it .would definitely stay here again .

Room small, though clean with cotton bedlinen. No kettle in one room, tv unusable due to pixellation and sound distortion. Disturbed/little sleep as Traffic noise from A38 continuous 24hours.

access issues un answered messages and calls as a hotel we used for our travelling sub contractors , we have stayed here previously and had issues, which i over looked at the time as a one off, but on the stay here again this week , we had the exact same issues. the check in is not manned and is done with key codes but to get the key code the hotel says they will text you the details, this does not happen, the first stay we didnt receive any text message or email regarding access, this resulted in our lads waiting around for over an hour after calling and texting the number supplied and not receiving any answers, like i said i over looked it the first time. so on our second visit yesterday, yes we received an access code for the bottom door , but were not given a room number or any details of the room we booked, again texts and phone calls were ignored for half an hour until eventually we got a call back. we will not be using this establishment again, and i wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy, AVOID.

More basic than the price suggests It was clean, cheap and comfy. But we wouldn’t stay there again as the room felt claustrophobic. The slanted ceiling was ridiculously low and made it awkward moving around the bed. As mentioned in other reviews, the name on the gate is not the name we booked, and it has signs that it is a b&b - which it isn’t, although there are facilities downstairs to bring your own. I would recommend the Fox and Goose down the road, much nicer for about the same price
