The Cedars Guest House

We've just enjoyed a 3-night stay at The Cedars, where the warmth of the welcome from Jackie could not have been better. Our room was clean and comfortable, and well appointed, the breakfasts could not have been better. Jackie went out of her way to give us helpful tips for places to visit and things to do. The location is excellent, right on the sea front and only 7 mins walk from the centre of town. The views across the Firth on a clear day are wonderful. There's ample on-street parking available. One stand-out is the attention to cleanliness, hygiene and Covid protection in place, which was very pleasing to see. When we return to Dunoon, The Cedars will be our automatic choice. There may be cheaper guest houses, but The Cedars is worth it.

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Lovely clean guest house in excellent location. Jackie was a font of knowledge for the area. Prior to arrival she made contact with tips on where to purchase best value ferry tickets, checked any diatry and mobility requirements. Plenty of free roadside parking.

Well deserved 5 stars Fantastic stay! Jackie couldn’t have been more helpful with friendly advice on travel and restaurants along with a fab cooked breakfast and specially bought fruit and yogurt for my wife. Room was spotless and comfy too. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.
