Perfectly located by the sea, stadium and Umgeni river. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The room with a view is spacious and clean.

The warmth and welcome was amazing, from all stuff members, you start at security and you feel the love from all people, they are so helpful. As for me I am a sleeping bird, Thursday I was late and couldn't make it to breakfast but the well mannered lady at reception insisted to help me, asked the kitchen stuff to pack the breakfast for me, and they saved me money because I was going to buy something on the road. I love Riverside thank you.

Rooms were noisy, could hear what was going on in the room next door. poor wifi, could work from anywhere in the hotel. Had no water for close to 12 hours, making it hard to get ready for the next day

Worst They have a rat problem and way too noisy in the evening. They rates ate the power cable that caused all the plugs to be down in the room. The hotels drinks were worse than buying a drink in the UK. Do not recommended to my worst enemy.

Water issues!!! Requested room with separate room, given room with shower in bath. Water covering floor due to leaking fridge, which had a foot pad missing. Water in bathroom was luke warm when on maximum heat.

Terrible service average hotel I booked a suite for 2 adults and 2 children. On the app the description of the suite was that it would have a king bed and a twin bed. However, all it had was a king bed. Even after getting the manager on the line he was unable to provide a solution to the problem except to say i had to pay an extra 500 rands for an extra bed. The mistake was clearly in the hotel's description of the suite, so quite annoying that costs were passed onto me and management unable to assist.

The pillows and sheets were fluffier 😊 it was warm and very The room was clean 😊 the cleaning staff was friendly and always of assistance 😊 buffet breakfast was sooo delicious and appetizing and the swimming pool area was beautiful... I really enjoyed .

A lovely experience - from the time we arrived - professional and friendly staff. Checked-in within 5 minutes. A lovely Ocean Facing Room. Room is spacious and a huge King Size bed, very comfortable. A lovely Dinner at the Riverside Grill - food cooked and presented beautifully - very tasteful.

Excellent service and stay, we booked a deluxe room and was very spacious, the breakfast was very good. Good location, ample open parking . We had to leave a day earlier than expected and requested a refund this was done with no hassles at all, very professional.

Pleasant stay, just suggestion to upgrade the gym. Apart from that the food the people the room all was in order. Managed to have time in the hotel to relax and unwind.

Home Away from Home! The welcome from the staff, and hospitality is the best. Especially must mention of the Reservation Manager Vanella, Julia front desk manager, Front Desk check in reception Dolly and the very friendliest, helpful Porter.

I have stayed several times at your location, this is the first review I have submitted. I find 100% of your staff friendly and helpful. In particular I would like to compliment the restaurant staff. They are attentive and anyone will jump in to help, whether they are your waiter/waitress, it does not matter. I believe it stems from the guidance of your manager for that department, always a friendly greeting, a smile and nothing is an imposition. I arrived before the restaurant was technically open both mornings, I was seated, provided with a coffee, all of this was done with a smile and joke. This positive attitude is obvious throughout the day. You are never given the impression you are putting someone out, just that you are welcome. Well done to the staff and his leadership.
