Small friendly hotel. Comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits provided. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice. Recommend the porridge .. delicious Nice setting & area. Only 15/20 mins drive to park & ride into Edinburgh. Guide book to area available

Grazie ancora a Lorna per la sua squisita ospitalità: se è vero che qualunque soggiorno in struttura ha alla base un rapporto economico, è altrettanto vero che la cura dei particolari, la qualità di lenzuola, asciugamani e prodotti per il bagno, la freschezza ed il livello della colazione fanno la differenza. Parcheggio privato, possibilità di raggiungere Edimburgo in circa 20 minuti con un bus la cui fermata è a pochi metri dalla casa. Per chi ama il rugby: il Murrayfield non è lontano!

Perfect stay for our trip
We had a perfect stay in Edinburgh. The accommodation was amazing and I would highly recommend. Comfortable with everything you need as well as a wonderful host who couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves visiting Edinburgh.

Quiet yet convenient
Really nice place and lovely hosts. Clean and quiet, away from the bustle. of the city but close enough to easily access Edinburgh as well as walking distance to the village of East Calder with restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was lovely and offered a nice variety. Try the Haggis, it's delicious.

What can I say I loved stopping here Lorna made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble it was very clean the rooms very comfortable breakfast was great there is a bus stop just down the road that will take you to Edinburgh takes about twenty mins ideal thank you to Lorna for letting us stay

A really comfortable B and B. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. Tidy and cosy. The best thing about this place is Lorna and Dougie. What genuine and kind people. Nothing was too much bother. They were really kind and went above and beyond. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, or stay again.
