Stayed at the Marriott recently for a conference - modern rooms, clean hotel, and friendly staff all around. But the real catch was Joe at the front desk. He was o-fish-ally one of the most helpful and welcoming hotel staff members I’ve met, and really went above and beyond during my stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

I typically stay at Marriott properties when I travel and this hotel in Lansing is fantastic. The neighborhood is full of great shops, restaurants, and nice people. The rooms and overall facility is clean and comfy. The bar and restaurant offer plenty of really good choices (Andrii convinced me to try the chefs special tuna tacos, which were amazing) . Hannah went above and beyond to help me with a technology issue that I needed resolved quickly. Also, huge props to Hannah for her help with local restaurants and cool places to check out while I was there. Highly recommend!

I love staying at this hotel! The location is so fun and my college kiddo enjoys a non-community bathroom once in a while and joins me for fun weekend stays. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious and super comfortable. It’s all great but what made we want to write a review is the service. The ENTIRE staff has been incredible during each of my many stays. I’d love to shout out Hannah who is the BEST smiling face to greet me during my stays. She goes above and beyond to make sure I have all of my needs met (extra towels, I mentioned the daughter who enjoys a hotel bathroom lol, recommendations, general q/a). She greets me by name and when I told her my husband was joining later in the evening she greeted him by name and made sure he knew exactly where to go. I just love that feeling of home she provides. As much as I enjoy celebrating Hannah, you should know that the whole staff is a fluid team and I feel very safe with the security that’s provided due to the busy nighttime college life outside the hotel. During one visit, the front desk employee (didn’t catch his name) saw me walking in with my hands full, remembered me from earlier, said hello and RACED to the elevator to help me swipe my key to access my floor. It was so sweet! Keep it up team!!

Joe made my experience one of a kind. Super helpful at check in and made sure we got everything we needed to the room!! He was the best.

I had an amazing experience. I had some family visiting and while they were here I stayed with them here at the Marriott. The staff was amazing and really made our experience so special, and this is a trip they won’t forget.

My colleagues and I all had a wonderful stay at the Marriott East Lansing. We credit the experience to the service we received. Joe was above-and-beyond phenomenal. He remembered guests’ names and was always eager to please. His standout service was remarked by everyone in our group. Lauren was also wonderful, along with the hotel bartender, room service staff, and maintenance. My room didn’t come with a mini-fridge, but I requested one and they had it delivered and hooked up in no time. The service that Joe and team provided made our stay one that we will always remember!

Recently stayed while attending NCLC at MSU. Shout out to Joe Roboski at the front desk checking in with 20+ college students' flawless and during are stay he was on point. His upbeat personality, professionalism and attention to detail are a major asset to this hotel. " Would highly recommend staying here!"
