Exceptional attention to detail, level of service unparalleled. There is really nothing for which than can provide help. Highly recommend. Tht said the rooms can be a bit snug and do not all have a bathtub, and there is a 20 pound service charge, but that also means you don't have to worry about carrying cash for tipping (to my understanding). Really just lovely overall.

I had a wonderful stay and genuinely wished it had been for more than one night. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. My friend joined me for dinner, and it was a lovely experience to enjoy a few drinks while looking out over the castle – such a beautiful and relaxing setting. The room, although on the smaller side, was very well designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had an excellent night's sleep. One thing to note is that there were no tea and coffee-making facilities in the room on arrival. While this felt a little unusual, they were brought up within minutes after I phoned reception. Breakfast was delicious, with a good range of options on offer. The bacon jam was certainly a highlight – absolutely packed with flavour and a real treat to start the day. A really enjoyable visit.

The experience of staying at 100 Princes is a true memorable one. The staff are beyond amazing and so very welcoming! The rooms are as beautiful as they look! Never had a velvet wall before :-) The bath floors and mirror are heated, the soundproofing is beyond any where else we have stayed in the UK. Bed, comfy, pillows, the best, and the bedtime treats are great (make sure you allow turn down for this reason alone!) If I were running the hotel, I would add a coat rack in the foyer of each room. That would have been helpful when coming in out of the rain.

Loved our stay What a special place. Felt like family from the moment we talked in the door. I love their reception as well as their attention to all details. We were definitely taken care of and will be back the next time we are in Edinburgh.
