Epacha Game Lodge & Spa

Alors oui ce lodge est un peu vieillissant cependant c'est le cas de beaucoup d'entre eux, nous en avons fait quelques uns. Les chambres sont immenses, spacieuses et très confortables. Le petit plus c'est l'extension de la salle de bain en extérieur avec une douche et avec au moins 30° c'est plutôt très agréable. Le décor extérieur est tout simplement magnifique et reposant et si vous avez la chance d'assister à un lever de soleil vous serez subjugué. Les espaces communs sont très accueillants avec une architecture tout en bois et en lien avec l'environnement. La restauration est dans son ensemble bonne voire très bonne. Je recommande cet établissement.

The chefs were great but all four of us came back w horrible flea bites. Rooms nice: dark rock w frosted glass windows. Excellent pool big enough to swim in. Golf cart available to drive to rooms - if walking is quite steep and some people might not be up to it.

This is a absolutely amazing place to stay at. The setting, the rooms, pool area and most of all the lovely staff who really makes an effort to create the most magical stay for you at all times. The location is perfect, just next to Etocha. The hotel is very well kept and the atmosphere is just lovely. We took an excursion to the Etocha park with a guide from the hotel, Rietz, and this was a great experience. The guide took us safely through the nature and we saw alot of animals, lions, rino, elephants etc - really worth it to take a guided tour compared to driving with your own car.

The property may look very nice in the pictures but my experience with Epacha was truly appalling. I had a query and they signally failed to respond to my numerous requests. The staff are perfectly nice but the management lets them down. It seems that they are a profit machine with no real desire to help if there is no money in it for them!

It was really enjoyable to stay at this lodge. Starting with the staff who were very polite while also demonstrating great professionalism and continuing with the accommodation which was simply beautiful. We enjoyed the food as well as all the animals around the lodge. We also received excellent information about the Himba village, which we visited after leaving the lodge—it’s definitely worth a visit. I am looking forward to visiting again!

Very grand lodge/hotel, everything tremendously spacious. Rooms huge with huge bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Huge very powerful and quiet air conditioning unit. Great bed and linen and 4 bath sheets in the bathroom. Service friendly and efficient, good laundry service. Property well landscaped with each accommodation unit standing apart, golf cart transfer to rooms if required .Lodge offers game drives on their own property. Dinner was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. Breakfast offered excellent choice of cold items and the kitchen served hot items were of good quality. Highly recommended.
