Tea Cabins

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war einfach nur traumhaft. Die Lage ist total ruhig… perfekt, um runterzukommen und den Ausblick zu genießen (und der ist wirklich spektakulär!). Klar, die Ruhe bedeutet auch: Man ist ein bisschen ab vom Schuss. Aber das Team war super hilfsbereit und hat uns problemlos Tuktuks organisiert, wenn wir mal loswollten. Außerdem konnten wir jederzeit per WhatsApp Kontakt aufnehmen. Die Pools waren ein absolutes Highlight: sauber, entspannend, mit Wahnsinns-Ausblick. Das Essen war richtig lecker, und generell war einfach alles mit so viel Liebe gemacht. Der einzige Minuspunkt: Wir mussten irgendwann wieder abreisen. Im Nachhinein hätten wir definitiv länger bleiben sollen. Ella und dieses Hotel sind einfach magisch.

What a find ! Fantastic location up in the hills near Ella , with amazing views. Great facilities with spacious accommodation and the staff are so friendly. You will need to take the Tea Cabins Tuk Tuk from the street down to the reception. Pre order breakfast which is delivered to your room and enjoy at your leisure.

We spent 3 nights in the Superior Villa and it was definitely our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The scenery and all the sounds of nature make it so relaxing, the location is great. My partner told them it was for my birthday and they decorated the bed and provided a cake which was lovely! We loved that they provided a WhatsApp number with the menu so you could just text your order. This made it so easy to order food and let them know what time to deliver breakfast. We had Breakfast and Dinner every day during our stay and the food was always amazing! Great choice of both western and Sri Lankan food on offer and for breakfast you can pick between Sri Lanka or a Full English. We had to leave early for a tour one day but they were able to provide breakfast for us still which was really appreciated! We had a guide throughout our stay so never needed the Tuktuk service offered but in the car it was only around 10 minutes to main area of Ella and about 20 to Nine arch bridge. The attention to detail is fantastic and even when we had rain one of the days, we didn’t mind as it was so cozy sitting in the upstairs area playing a game of chess which was provided!
