"Well I would just like to say, don’t book this hotel if you love great service, wonderful people, because you will be disappointed! We have been to lots of hotels, B&B, Half-Board, All-Inclusive, all Stars and although I don’t want to say this, because it seems whenever we write a good review the prices Sky-rocket. We arrived after being detoured due to work on the main road through Crete, a bit frazzled. We were greeted by the most lovely lady on reception (apologies I did not get your name), who from start to end of holiday was amazing always with a welcome smile (lovely touch at the end of the holiday a little present of locally produced products). We were given a great room with two balconies (chill out and sun beds over looking the pool), not sure why, but very much appreciated with wine and fruit in the room. Lots of cupboard space needed for my clothes!!! The pool area, amazing beds, in fact one day we were at the beach and I just wanted to get back to the comfy beds (hotel needs to update their photos!). So staff, what can I say, Maria, George, Tony - lady at breakfast, ladies who cleaned our room. Excellent, super, wonderous. Location, brilliant close to beach, town, harbour - we didn’t have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Walked to Plaka, only do if the weather is a bit cloudy, but worth the visit. Also walked to an amazing beach on the peninsula, don’t know the name, but sandy and gorgeous clear waters. Everyone we met were lovely, just a really great holiday and thank you Elounda Garden Suites x"
