Excellent hotel with amazing friendly staff and great restaurant! We spent several days in this hotel with my colleagues and all were more than satisfied with the service and local cuisine! It's about 10 to 15 min walk to the city center. Definitely would return back!

"A real gem in Emden! Hotel Faldernpoort exceeds all expectations. The location is just perfect - quiet enough to relax, yet only a short 15-minute walk from the bustling city center. The beautifully renovated rooms exude elegance and provide the ideal retreat after a busy day. The service is an absolute highlight of this hotel. The reception is manned around the clock and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food until late in the evening. The variety and quality of the food is simply outstanding. The breakfast buffet is a real feast for the palate. From freshly baked goods to a wide selection of hot and cold dishes - there is something for every taste. And the cleanliness throughout the hotel also deserves the highest praise. Overall, I can recommend Hotel Faldernpoort without reservation. A place where hospitality, comfort and enjoyment are combined at the highest level. I'm already looking forward to returning here again soon!"

Ganz ehrlich, ich habe schon in vielen Hotels genächtigt. Aber das ist echt die Höhe. - toilettensitz nicht fest - Schimmel in der Dusche - Gummidichtung an der Duschwand löst sich - Unsauber! Viele lange Haare im Bad - Fenster schließt nicht richtig - Garderobenhaken gebrochen - Teppich der nie erneuert wurde und an vielen Stellen kaputt ist. Das schlimmste war aber die Dunstabzugshaube der Küche direkt vor dem Fenster. Es war warm draußen, im Zimmer (ganz oben) knapp 28 Grad. Da keine Klima vorhanden, will man das Fenster aufmachen. Dank der Abzugshaube war das dermaßen laut, das an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Also Fenster zu, die Abzugshaube war dennoch zu hören. Reinste Katastrophe. An der Rezeption zeigte man sich nicht wirklich einsichtig, „man schreibt sich das mal auf“ Geschenkt wäre das Zimmer noch zu teuer.

Hele goede ervaring. Hotel ligt in perfecte afstand tot centrum, en dicht bij park. Mooie schone kamers. Heel erg lekker eten, mooi geserveerd. Wij hadden halfpension. Had gevraagd om een kamer in het hoofdgebouw aan de straat, en keurig ook gekregen. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Wir hatten ein Arrangement direkt über das Hotel gebucht. Von anderen Gästen hörten wir, dass sie deutlich günstiger gebucht hatten und sogar a la Carte essen konnten. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und geräumig. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Parkplätze waren ab dem späten Nachmittag belegt, aber in der ruhigen Straße und direkt vorm Hotel ließ sich immer etwas finden. Das Essen war Durchschnitt, deshalb würde ich nicht noch einmal hinfahren. Alles in allem aber eine runde Sache.

Das Faldenpoort ist ein klassisches, Inhaber-geführtes Hotel in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Das mitgeführte ebike konnte zwar sicher, aber in einer sehr engen und wenig sauberen Räumlichkeiten untergebracht werden. Hier ist Optimierungsbedarf! Kein Anschluss für den Akku des ebikes. Das gebuchte, sehr helle EZ ist modern eingerichtet. Angesichts der großen Glasflächen war es äußert warm im Zimmer, eine Klimaanlage wäre optimal gewesen. Sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim sehr ansprechenden Frühstück war der Service freundlich und aufmerksam.

Schone kamers, goede bedden, smakelijk ontbijt. Daar is niets op aan te merken. Wat wij wel vervelend vonden was de totale desinteresse van de medewerkers aan de receptie. Bij aankomst werden wij niet welkom geheten. Geen informatie over tijden van de maaltijden en waar het het restaurant cq de ontbijtruimte was. Ook bleek dat wij op een tijdstip waren ingedeeld voor het diner. Dat is ons niet medegedeeld, laat staan dat ons de mogelijkheid werd geboden dit tijdstip te wijzigen. Kortom een prima hotel maar de medewerkers van de receptie kunnen wel een hospitality-cursus gebruiken.

Io ho viaggiato tanto per Europa e mondo intero, ma questo è sicuramente uno dei migliori hotel in cui sia stato, personale gentile, colazione incredibile, c'è di tutto, parcheggio abbondante sia in hotel che in strada (parcheggiata pure una corriera e avanzava spazio in abbondanza), ottimo punto di riferimento per esplorare la zona, rapporto qualità/prezzo super
