"It was just like a brand new hotel room! The front desk staff were very helpful, and the amenities were of high quality. I arrived on a cold night, but when I entered the room, the heater was on, and it was nice and warm, even the blankets were nice and warm... I was so touched! The service was also wonderful. I would like to use this hotel again in a different region!"

"Very nice room and clean with perfect view/scenary facing enakyo park The only downside, has no bathroom inside, you have to go down to onsen place If you don’t drive, it’s very inconvenient"

"There's a large supermarket nearby, and it's not far from the station. The room itself was pretty much the same as a regular hotel room, and the experience was good. The staff were very helpful and polite. The accommodation included a microwaveable bento box of your choice, which was nice. The only minor issue was that the only place with a mirror in the room was the bathroom, but there was no power outlet for a hairdryer. I'd suggest adding a small mirror or something similar to the room."

"The staff were very kind and helpful. I also liked the free refills on rice and miso soup. The view from the large public bath was beautiful, and the weather was quiet and more comfortable than in the city. I could hear the birds chirping in the morning, and I'd love to come back as a summer escape."

"We stayed at this ryokan on the first night of a 7 day self guided walking tour of the Nakasendo Trail. This was one of our favorite accommodations in Japan. The owner (15th generation) and her daughter were so gracious in welcoming us. The room was beautiful and looked out on a garden. The dinner was amazing. And it is a short walk to the Hiroshige museum which is great! Wonderful start to our hike!"
