This holiday park is in a great location for exploring Brittany, but let's itself down in many ways. The negatives are: very late check in (5pm) and this appears to be enforced, no facilities open before 10am... Pool is closed till then, no breakfast cafe etc. Very loud events that disrupt sleep on a Tuesday night. Pedestrian zones have many hazards, like escooters wizzing at 30mph, not great with young kids. No recycling bins provided in rooms, yet requirement to separate out every item, literally hours of the trip spent recycling. Limited on site food options. The positives are generally good activities and location and general setting is great.

The campsite itself is really lovely, although very busy. Beautiful walks, amazing swimming pools, zip lining, play areas, wonderful for children, but we are an older couple and travelling on our own, so it was nice, but maybe not for us. We stayed in “Eurocamp” accommodation, advertised as top of the range mobile for six/eight people. The first mobile we were allocated was dirty and old, and we requested a change, as we had agreed to give Eurocamp a second chance, having spent a week in previous campsite accommodation that was not good either! The next mobile was newer, but we still had to clean it, sweep the floor, clean down the leaf covered decking and deck furniture. The microwave was rusty and not usable, and the oven, although better than the other one, was not great either, so we only used the gas stovetop for cooking. Disappointing and not to be repeated.

Eurocamp Domaine Des Ormes Spent 10 days here loads to do so much activities for the children, lots of free activities and the other activities like tree top climbing and zip line etc, all reasonably priced. We had a great stay and would definitely come back here again . The only downside I found the food wasn't great on site and especially if you have any allergies. Would recommend bringing an air fryer if possible as most cabins don't have an oven Overall excellent campsite Visited in April

It's a big site with a variety of accommodation. We stayed in a Tao cabin which was OK but the bedrooms were very small and, if there had been a family of 4 in it, clothes storage could have been a problem. I was surprised to find that we were expected to clean the cabin when we left. There are no instructions for the microwave and the TV doesn't have any English language channels (although, to be honest, that's not surprising because the majority of people when we were there were French). There's a wide range of onsite activities but I have reservations about some of them. There are several aerial activities - climbing up nets, onto platforms, sliding down zip lines, some of them very long and there's no doubt that they were enjoyed. However, there was no supervision. Every person on the activity had a safety line but I have no idea what would have happened if somebody had fallen and was hanging from the safety line or reached a point and realised that they couldn't continue to the end of the course. On the archery, nobody was given any protective equipment (arm guard, finger tab etc) until it was clear that they needed it. I didn't realise that the nerves in my middle finger were being damaged until after the activity finished. It's now 3 days since the activity and my finger has still not recovered. I didn't realise either, that there were extra charges for all the activities apart from the Dome which is great although, again, there is no supervision on the waterslides. In summary, I'd recommend this as a family destination with some reservations.

We stayed in the Ultimate as a family of seven. There was plenty of space for us all with ample storage for our luggage. There were good cooking facilities, utensils and everything we needed for our stay. We had lovely outdoor furniture and BBQ which we used a couple of times. We were a few minutes walk away from the main facilities of the park. The site itself was lovely. Bigger than previous ones we had stayed at. There were lots of activities for the children to get involved in from high ropes, football tournaments run by staff, pedalos, parks, swimming pools with slides. The children loved the wave pool and the pool party held one evening. The restaurant food was lovely and well priced, staff there and in the bar were great. Very friendly and helpful. The Shop was very well stocked with everything you could ever need and reasonably priced. The evening entertainment was great. All in all a great holiday and would recommend to anyone.

We have visited here a few times now and enjoy it. We always go out of season when it's quite as it is a big site with everything going for it. For us, peak season would not be our cup of tea as we suspect it would be far too busy and noisy, that's just us though. If you have kids, in peak season this is the place to be as every activity for all ages is covered. The Dome pool complex is out of this world. We're looking forward to seeing the new development finished. There are loads of lovely places to visit in the area. The nearby town, Dol du Bretagne is worth a visit. The main ancient street with it's timber buildings are fab as is the Saturday morning market. Get there early to get parked. Also in the town area are a couple of big supermarkets, petrol station, car wash, restaurants etc so well catered for. Coast about a 10-15 minutes drive away. We would recommend and we will certainly be back but as I said off season for us, enjoy your stay.

I should firstly inform.. we stayed on a camping pitch with electricity in July, 2 adults 2 children. For a 5* camping.. I was pretty disappointed. In short: Good points: - plenty of entertainment and activities for the kids - enthusiastic kids club entertainment - quiet at night on the camping - food can be hit and miss in the pizza restaurant but staff good - nice spar supermarket with fresh bread/croissants/pan au chocolat in the morning - felt safe letting the kids explore alone Bad points: - free wifi in the bar was impossibly slow, especially if busy - wifi could be bought for 25euros a week! - toilets were ALWAYS dirty and/or had no paper ( unless you count the paper strewn on the floor ) and no soap. - showers dirty, missing tiles, water ran for 4 seconds before you need to press the knob again... HOLES BETWEEN CUBICLES! confetti-ed with short & curlies. - bar staff very slow, even when not busy - paint flaking off the pool floor outside - dirty water puddles you have to walk through to enter the pool - parts of indoor pool smelled mouldy - washing up sinks leaked through the tap and were always dirty - our camping pitch was brown from previous tenants.. and showed no signs of growing back I dont think the fact there are many pools/restaurants/attractions makes up for the lack of basic cleanliness and upkeep of a 5* resort, especially when we pay a 5* price, hence my lower rating.
