Once Upon the River, Aluva - Near Cochin International Airport

Jag tycker att det var lugnt och skönt. Vacker med mycket grön växtlighet och fin utsikt över floden. Jag gillade poolen och de stora och bekväma rummen.

Good place. Very good hospitality. The staff is very polite and friendly. Happy to have spent onam here. It's a vast place surrounded by green lushes !! Makes you feel like you are in some other world- in a different island altogether.

Had a wonderful stay at Once Upon the River with my friends. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The peaceful riverside atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

Once upon the river is charming treasure hidden and nestled right next to the Periyar river. The whole resort is well kept, neat and the rooms are excellent and comfortable. The whole place evokes an atmosphere of traditional keralite living. The breakfast spread is also good. The really exceptional part of this property is the staff. Polite, well mannered, excellent attitude and willingness to help. Always available. 10/10 just for that. They gave my disabled dad a wheelchair ride to the room. Would visit again.

Right in the city But hidden, we took the Inside circle There were 8 beautiful rooms and a swimming pool exclusive for us alone. If you want we can close the gate too. you can say other guests don’t even get to disturb us. Rooms were spacious and very clean and tidy. The staffs were extra friendly. The food was delicious. Only thing we could say bad was we couldn’t watch the Football live from our rooms. The Hideout or the room to watch the game was near the restaurant. Anyway we are planning another trip next year

It was a resort in true sense about 8 kms away from Kochi International Airport. Right from check in to check out service has been outstanding. They have limited rooms, though the resort is spread across 7-8 acres of land, but all rooms are very large and spacious. Built in old Kerala Style, the Resort offers lots of open spaces full of greenery. In fact you just can not see the resort from the Road as it is covered with trees. Riverbank provides a perfect setting for a evening tea. Pool is kept well. Chefs are every eager to provide dishes as per our liking. They also have provision for indoor games like TT and Carrom. Cycles are kept in all sizes for guests. However this place may be a bit far away from Cochin / Ernakulam

A beautiful and quiet osais near the airport. Large, comfortable rooms with lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Food was great and staff very helpful. Recommend it

Nice place, well maintained,, friendly staff

We stayed for a night but wished we could stay longer. A very pleasant hotel with good rooms and excellent restaurant. The staff have been professional and efficient and made for an enjoyable stay.
