Travelling from Fès to merzouga have a stop out of time with Ali. You will discover a generous man with a wonderful cooking. Nous avons séjourné avec nos 3 enfants chez Ali dans sa maison traditionnelle L’accueil est chaleureux et sincère Ali consacre beaucoup de temps à ses clients pour leur faire partager la vie de ce village et les visites de l’oasis et des Kasbahs qu’il fait volontiers sont très intéressantes et même émouvante La maison est confortable Le repas délicieux Une très belle découverte Je recommande

We (family of five) spent three days with Ali and this was the highlight of our ten day trip to Morocco. Ali is so incredibly kind, generous, helpful and his food is delicious. Houses and surroundings are much more beautiful than the pictures show. The rooms are very cozy and all have modern toilets and hot water showers. If I got it right this building is from the 14th century and Ali renovates and restores it bit by bit. Caravans used to pass in the oasis behind the building and the villagers built towers and thick walls around their houses to protect themselves from bandits. Ali gave us a guided tour in the oasis and to an old abandoned village nearby. He also took us to a Berber village in the mountains where he supports a women’s association. It was a beautiful and interesting experience. I can highly recommend a stay here.
