At first glance, you see an enchanting quintessential Santa Fe style exterior and landscaping. You walk into your room and see even more: old styling, brilliantly high ceilings with vegas and skylights, foggy windows that look like they've never been cleaned, covered by old curtains that belonged to your grandmother. Homey but not, because you start to notice the cracks all over the interior stucco; the grime. But here's why we reluctantly offer only two stars: our bathroom shower had a two foot high edge, and 8 -12 inch width barrier of a hot tub without grab bars that you had to navigate (step over) like a Spanish galleon sailor to get into... Not what I wanted to see my fall-averse spouse attempt. And the bed measured at least 9 on the Mohs hardness scale - hardest bed ever.... Is that what we travelers really like? Not this one.
