We had a family reunion with 17 guests. We rated all the restaurants and the staff were professional, attentive and very friendly. The family agreed that our week long stay was the best holiday ever and we all agreed to repeat the experience either in Majorca or Crete. We would like to single out Darko in Flavors, Gabi in the Cocktail Bar and Anna in Chiringuito as staff who went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. The only negative aspect, which, in our opinion, lowered the tone of the resort, was the amount of washing hanging out to dry over the balconies . Perhaps the exceptionally high rates charged by the resort’s laundry contributes to this unfortunate eyesore.

We had the pleasure of staying here recently to celebrate a family birthday. Dionisis Tarazis was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The resort was really nice, food was excellent and I would definitely return and recommend to others.

We were a family group of 17 aged 15-86. We had a blast. Service is probably the best I have experienced in Europe and we have done a lot of traveling. Restaurants are extremely efficient and the food very high quality. Staff bend over backwards to provide a memorable experience. Bonus for me was that it’s also a great Kiteboarding spot and I was able to go out right off the beach. We are converts to Ikos and will likely try one of the other resorts next year.

We are on our 3rd holiday at Ikos Andalusia and just when you think it can’t get any better…. It does ! 😀👌 All the facilities are highest quality, a huge choice of restaurants and bars make it easy to eat or drink at any time of the day or night you fancy. Rooms are lovely and perfectly clean. But by far the best thing about Ikos is the staff at every part of the organisation from management to maintenance. They genuinely want you to have the best holiday possible and go out of their way to make sure you do. A special mention for their exceptional customer service to Darko at Chiringuito, Christina, Marta, Maria and of course Rafael (Greek) at concierge for their excellence in looking after guests, nothing is too much trouble. Another fantastic Ikos holiday! We’ve been to Oceana and Dassia already and we chose Andalusia this time as my husband and son fancied playing a bit of golf and Ikos give you a free round at Los Naranjos which was great. We made use of the Teslas to get to and from golf and for my daughter and I to head to the Market in Puerto Banús. This resort is more compact than the Greek ones we visited and this feels quite nice actually. Everywhere is very easy to get to. Highlights were the food!! We all agreed we ate the best food at this resort! Special mention goes to Darko who looked after us so well at Chiringuitos! The tapas here is sublime and we at lunch here every day!! Darko had a welcoming smile and plenty of golf banter for the boys. Fresco, ouzo and the duck and champers at Seasons were also fabulous! The main bar was always fun in the evenings. The beach is nice although I’d recommend bringing some beach shoes for getting in and out. I’d definitely recommend this resort if you’re looking for that impeccable and luxurious Ikos experience.

On the Coast with access to coastal path for 10Km, Beach is well serviced but is grey volcanic sand. Accommodation is excellent, massive range of exciting restaurants and beach place under care of Darko not to be missed. Almost too many swimming pools but some specifically for families and small children so couples do not feel out of place. Any dietary need catered for and specific food requests always managed well even if not on the menu of the restaurant one attends. Setting is lovely and feels very spacious most rooms with excellent views of the coast or the resort. Access easy from Malaga but small car is an advantage if you wish to tour surrounding area. Staff and service efficient and hospitable. Definitely a place to return to but for couples best not in school holiday period. Only concern, the on shore wind can build up in the day and one can feel a little exposed or in need of a wrap.

This was our third visit in three years to Ikos Andalusia, our first in Deluxe and was our best overall visit to date. It did not start so well though so I will cover that off first. After a seamless check in process with Ines our deluxe concierge, she showed us to our room which was fantastic, with great sea views however once we were left alone, we noticed that the air-con was extremely loud and so much so, that we thought it resembled the noise of a helecopter. As my wife is an extremely light sleeper we decided not to unpack and went to see Ines again in the main lobby. We explained the situation to Ines and a repair man was dispatched immediately, but unfortunately advised that it could not be repaired there and then as it needed a new motor and had no idea when that would be received to be fitted. We went to see Ines again and we requested that as it would not be fixed in the near future, that we would like to change rooms to one that was quiet. I could ramble on for a long time, but suffice to say that Ines worked tirelessly and kept in touch with us all along the way and although the hotel was I believe at full capacity, just before she left at the end of her shift advised that she had arranged for us to be re-located the next day. As we were very tired by then and having spent most of the afternoon waiting for news, we decided to use room service for our evening meal rather than go to Provence which we had originally booked. I must also point out that late in the evening we were visited by Matteus and Maria, who had been looking after our situation after Ines had left for home, and advised that they had sought an alternative room for us that night as well, however as it was late, we were tired and I was a tadge grumpy over the day’s proceedings we politely declined. My wife did not sleep much and I got a small amount but day two dawned, and after a fantastic breakfast, Ines advised that our cases would be moved to our new room, and we should spend the day enjoying ourselves and she would arrange everything else for us and call us to show us the new room, which she did. Exactly the same room type, which we were delighted with but with an even better view, and once we were settled in, the holiday had well and truly started again. I have given much feedback to Ikos on the great work that Ines did for us, and that she was friendly, empathetic, professional and an ambassador of the Ikos brand. She also stood tall when members of the Management could not or would not talk to me when I was getting frustrated the previous day with the issues we were facing. The rest of the holiday was absolutely outstanding in every way and totally relaxing and the quality of service and professionalism of each member of staff we interacted with, along with the superb quality of the food is testament to the Ikos 5 star rating. A beautiful resort, with exceptional wine and very high quality food. The staff were all outstanding. We did not have children and were grateful for the adult only pools and restaurant sessions. There were a lot of children and babies in restaurants late at night. This is a truly beautiful place.

Our Second Stay at Ikos Andalusia – Can’t Wait to Come Back Again! We got back from our second stay at Ikos Andalusia just a week ago, and we’ve already booked our third visit for the end of August. That probably says it all—this place is truly special and gets better every time. Beautiful Location The resort is right on the Costa del Sol, with amazing sea views, beautiful gardens, and a calm, relaxing vibe everywhere you go. Whether you’re by the pool, walking through the grounds, or sitting by the beach, everything feels peaceful and perfectly looked after. Deluxe Collection – Worth Every Bit We stayed in the Deluxe Collection again, and it made our trip even more enjoyable. The private check-in, the Deluxe Pool, and the room were incredible. The Deluxe Concierge team was fantastic—always available and ready to help with anything. Deluxe Pool Bar – Our Favorite Spot We spent a lot of time at the Deluxe Pool, and the team at the Deluxe Pool Bar made every day feel like a treat. A huge thank you to Malama, Dora, Daniel and Alejandro, who did an amazing job and really made our afternoons here even more incredible. Malama was the heart of our holiday. She was always smiling, never in a bad mood, and is incredibly good at what she does. She made sure we were always looked after, and is just a lovely person to be around. Her kindness and calm, friendly attitude made us feel completely relaxed and cared for. She’s one of the reasons we’re so excited to come back in August! And yes—champagne by the pool in the sunshine? Absolute perfection. Our Room We stayed in a Deluxe one bedroom suite - sea view and it was beautiful. Clean, modern, very spacious, and very comfortable. Fantastic Food – Especially Provence & Seasons Dining at Ikos is on another level. Every restaurant is high-quality and even the buffet is completely the opposite from what you would expect in most five star hotels. We loved every restaurant, but as a personal preference, Provence was our absolute favourite with amazing French cuisine. The dishes at all restaurants were refined and the staff truly outstanding. Thank you to Sonja and Lorena for taking such great care of us and creating wonderful evenings every time we dined there. Breakfast at Seasons was another highlight. It was the perfect start to each day—calm setting, tasty, and beautifully presented. Cristina, Harry, and Kevin made each morning special with their friendly smiles and great service. We also want to thank Alejo from the Lobby Bar, Lucia from the Beach Club, Razvan at the buffet, for their enthusiasm and so friendly service. Incredible Staff & Service What makes Ikos truly stand out is the staff. Everyone is kind, professional, and happy to help. You can tell they really care. It’s not just about luxury—it’s about feeling welcomed, relaxed, and looked after. It was our first time at an IKOS resort and boy, what a great hotel this one is! It’s so clean and tidy and lovely everywhere! We stayed in a family garden suite, which had its own private garden with an outdoor double sunlounger and two single sunlingers plus a table and chair set too. We tended to go for breakfast in the buffet restaurant (flavours) as it suited our family, but you can have breakfasts in a couple of the a la carte restaurants. Flavours is open for lunch too, but we tended to go to the a la carte restaurants. A particular favourite was Ouzo the Greek restaurant. Plenty of variety of food in all of the restaurant ms and they cater well for intolerances too. There is a vegan menu and it also indicates which dishes are gluten free. There are several pools, some adults only and some where inflatables are not allowed. In general, inflatable toys were allowed in the central pool and family pool. Children are also allowed in the scented pool (water is not scented, but the planting around the pool is mostly lavender-hence the “scented”). The outdoor adults pool by the Beach club restaurant is amazing. It’s 50m in length and was never busy. There are also plenty of loungers and cabanas around the pool and surrounding garden too. The spa is open to all guests over 16 (I think). There are heated stone beds, an ice bucket shower, steam room and sauna and a 25m indoor pool. If you want any treatments then these can be booked for an additional cost. Dinner bookings at the various a la carte restaurants is a must. Email the hotel ahead of your arrival to get these reservations in early. Seasons was probably the best (in terms of location and food) with the French restaurant coming a close second. Avoid the Italian as service was very hot and miss (although the food is ok, but service is so different to the other restaurants). For the children, the kids club is good. I have an 9 and 11 year old and they were happy to go to the club for their allocated included sessions (can be morning or afternoon) of 2.5 hours a day. They made cookies one time and went on a scavenger hunt and to the pool for a swim as well. When you are by the pool an ice cream cart comes in the afternoon and you tend to get fruit offered to you in the morning (when you are in the sun loungers). There are water activities available on the beach, though try and do these first thing in the morning when they open at 10am as the wind gets up and they often close the beach due to the wind and larger waves and current. The pedal boats were hard work (if you have to tree adults on them!) so I’d go for a kayak or a SUP. Don’t go too far away in the kayak…they like you to stay in the area outside the hire hut so that they can keep an eye on you for safety. Teslas rental is included for one day of your stay. Ikos Andalusia is absolutely amazing the hotel facilities are absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff is what makes Ikos so magical. The staff are the best. Tersea who works at the kids pool goes above and beyond for everyone and is unbelievable with all the children and so fantastic at her job. Ikos is 10/10. A child and adult paradise.

My wife and I have just returned from another amazing holiday at this resort (our third visit). The restaurants, bars and pools are all great but what really makes this place special is the staff, who provide probably the best service we have had anywhere and for whom nothing is ever too much trouble. Maria and Fatima (guest relations), Sophia (Flavors), Liam (Anya), Gabrielle and the bar man that worked with her(Cocktail Bar) and Konstantinous (Pool Bar) deserve special mention for going that extra step to make us feel particularly welcome. And then, of course, there is Darko - who always makes our holiday so special. He is a true ambassador for the Ikos brand and the resort would not be the same without him. We have booked another visit in October and are very much looking forward to it.

THE RESORT The location is stunning, with views of both the pools and the Mediterranean. The resort itself is the perfect size – spacious yet walkable, and always with a sense of calm. POOLS One of our favourite features is that the pools are heated in season – it makes swimming truly relaxing. There’s a great variety of pool areas, from adult-only and quiet zones to family-friendly and kid-focused spaces. It’s clear that careful thought has gone into giving every guest a sense of comfort and choice. Sunbeds are always available, and the pool team is fantastic at helping you settle in – always friendly, always attentive. RESTAURANTS We love the à la carte restaurants – both for their quality and the variety in style and atmosphere. We especially appreciate that they offer quieter areas for those who prefer a more relaxed setting, alongside lively family spaces. Service here is all about making you feel welcome and cared for – there’s never a sense of “no,” only “how can we help?” SERVICE It’s hard to overstate how special the team is. The individuals working at Ikos Andalusia are kind, attentive, and sincere – and their approach reflects a culture that clearly starts at the top. As returning guests, it means so much to feel recognised and welcomed with such warmth. We’re grateful for the many thoughtful gestures we’ve experienced here over the years – and for the leadership that helps create an environment where hospitality is truly felt. SUMMARY We’ve stayed at many wonderful hotels across the region, but Ikos Andalusia is a place we return to again and again – not just for the beautiful surroundings, but for the people who bring it to life.
