Le Lagoto Resort & Spa

We have stayed here before but this time it seemed different. A bit more run down with things not working properly and falling apart. Also the service was not as good as previously (other than for the one lovely man who has been there forever). There seemed to be lots of young, inexperienced staff. The food was quite expensive and not very good quality. Not being able to get kids meals at dinner time was very disappointing. The spa was fabulous however and the location is spectacular. The beds were comfy and the aircon a must. It is a lovely place to stay but it is overpriced for what you get.

We really enjoyed the idyllic location, friendly staff, and fale-style accommodation with mod cons. There was something different in the restaurant each evening and activities to do if you felt like it. Highly recommend a break at Le Lagoto. We will be back!

Location and beach are good. There is a small area on the side of the main beach that is deep enough to swim properly even at low tide. Plenty of fish and sealife immediately off the beach for snorkeling. I saw turtles aswell.Evening sunset fire dances were great. Cultural show wonderful. Staff very friendly and food options good. A couple of days peace were impacted by kids running around through the bungalow rooms screaming, and had instances of people (large groups) that were not staying at the resort coming in ordering a drink a taking over the beach and facilities, to use to beach in feont of the hotel It is only a small resort so made a significant impact on peace, serenity and private feel. Rooms seemed old and dated, but fits with the overall feel of the resort. Overall good for a few days stay.

Lovely boutique resort only 10 bures , We caught the ferry to savaii from Upolu which takes about 90mins , we were picked up at the ferry terminal in Savaii by a driver that was organised by our travel agent and it took approximately 45 mins and we went through villages and towns. and saw some lovely beaches on the way .We arrived at the resort to a very warm greeting, check in was easy and were taken to our beachfront Bure , the Bure was well appointed and comfortable, and had a great view over the lagoon , the beach and lagoon were beautiful and you could swim or snorkel all tides , the fish life and coral was very good , and the breakfasts were very good and so was the food overall in the restaurant and bar , and SETI in the restaurant was so lovely and always went out of his way to make your dining experience better. There was a shaded are just in front of the restaurant with comfy chairs which had some books and games , there was a well stocked shop over the road from the resort that sold most things you need and also a takeaway that did great pizzas , and also across the road is an ATM , the staff in the spa were excellent. Overall the resort was excellent and the staff were very friendly and we will be back for sure Overall we loved our stay here and will be back.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time staying in Le Lagoto for a week during my Saofa'i. When I provided feedback that cabin 10 needed a good clean (bed sheets, fridge, cups, cutlery etc.), Gabriella and staff were on it. A new fridge was even provided. The immediate response and action allowed us to enjoy the rest of our stay and we reciprocated their kindness by tipping all the staff and spending a lot of money on food & beverages in support. A huge thank you to Gabriella, Seti and the rest of the staff for being so accommodating and welcoming. Seti and the lady that always helped out with breakfast were exceptional. Great customer service makes a place so I think we've found our happy place in Savai'i now. We look forward to visiting again soon. Fa'afetai lava!

We cannot rate this beautiful little resort enough. A sensational stay that has everything for a stunning relaxing 4 night break on a crystal clear beach which has an idyllic swimming hole. The staff are amazing in particular Seti who has the best customer service skills you will ever come across anywhere in the world. Absolutely wonderful is all we can say.
