Fargo Inn and Suites

We stayed here in August of 2024 as well as this August and both times our stay was very good. The rooms are clean and “Dove” shampoo, conditioner and body wash and hair dryer is supplied. There is a bar fridge and microwave. As with many American hotel/motels, there was no place to recycle our soda cans or plastic bottles etc. Looking forward to that happening in the near future 😊 Good coffee is available by the front desk. No need to have a coffee maker in your room. The breakfast has scrambled eggs and one meat each day. Make- your-own pancakes, waffles and packaged oatmeal. Cold cereals, Fuji apples, cold hard boiled eggs, individual yogurts, cartons of milk and applesauce. Various types of bagels, sweet carb offerings, white and whole wheat bread with real butter or margarine, cream cheese, peanut butter and jam. The plates are compostable. The breakfast room is clean and kept freshly supplied by a friendly attendant. Our TV did not work and immediately after they discovered it could not be fixed, purchased a new TV and installed it in our room. They also accepted a parcel for us that was delivered to the motel. There is a bar attached with restaurants and lots of shopping very close by. I assume because of the political climate causing the decline of Canadian visitors, we were given a nice discount on our room rate. The motel is older and some corners of the room were a bit worn, but it’s clean and friendly. Highly recommend Fargo Inn and Suites.

Good value, clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel for business travelers, not a lot of frills and not fancy. There is a sports bar in the hotel open late, and lots of options for food and shopping within walking distance.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel August 1 and 2, 2025. We come to Fargo every year to attend the Fargo Blues Festival. On Friday night two of our tires were slashed on our vehicle. We reported the incident to the police and we were told it was not the first time this had happened. Since the tires would not inflate, we had to hire a tow truck ($125) to get our vehicle to a tire shop and get TWO tires replaced. The bill total was over $850. We reported all of this to hotel management with the police report and all of our receipts and photos. The hotel did have a video of the person who slashed our tires. This video has been given to the police. To date, the hotel has not offered to compensate our stay. I feel they should give us compensation because a prior guest had his tires slashed as well. We were not the first. The hotel should have warned guests about the potential damage to vehicles in their parking lots. We were not warned. I have handicap plates, but all the handicap spaces were filled so we had to park away from the entrance. We will not stay at this hotel again. I am also going to advise Fargo Blues management why we will not be attending their event next year. The least the hotel could have done is compensate us for our room for both nights. We are out over $850.

Room was clean but needs a little maintenance. Breakfast and room amenities were adequate. The bed had a thin uncomfortable mattress. If they would get better mattresses I would come again, but as is, it is not worth staying for a poor night's sleep.

Highlight was the clean and comfortable beds. Rooms are clean and ac kept room cool enough. Shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Staff were friendly. Easy to get around town from hotel with a vehicle. 2nd time staying there and would stay again.

Meh. Not the best, not the worst. Breakfast was terrible. The eggs are definitely not eggs. Put them in my mouth and immediately spit them out.
