We are 6 miles from Sequoia National Park and 5 minutes to Lake Kaweah, In the heart of the quaint town of Three Rivers.The spaceWe live in the main house on the property but you will have your own private fenced yard, parking area and entrance to the tiny house. We are very excited to share our ranch and all it has to offer including a scheduled opportunity to feed and brush the animals.The tiny house/cabin has a private bedroom with a queen bed, mirrored full closet. Bathroom with shower/tub combo. Fully stocked kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, and blender. Loft with 2 twin beds (lower ceilings so tall adults will not be able to fully stand up). A family room with dining table, sofa sleeper couch, an electric fireplace and Roku TV. Large deck with chairs and large private fenced area for family friendly axe throwing, and a propane fire pit to enjoy smores as you watch the sunset. We provide plenty of maps, games and restaurant recommendations. There are 4 stairs to get up to the deck landing to the cabin then it is all one level except for the loft area. This tiny house is not very tiny and is very spacious, perfect for family fun, quiet times of reflection, or a romantic getaway.Our goal is for you to show up and have everything you need to relax and be on vacation. We do not have a check out list, you are on vacation. Our main rule is not to wander outside of your private fenced area in front of tiny house without our supervision. This is for your and the animals safety. You can enjoy watching the horses, goats and chickens all day from your deck or yard and they will even come up to the fence to say hello, especially Jack-Jack. Please do not climb fences, or throw anything at the animals. Feeding and entering the animals areas will be allowed with our guidance only. Closed toe shoes will be required if you wish to have an animal encounter.Absolutely no pets or outside animals allowed at any time. No smoking anywhere on the property. Vaping on gravel areas only. The only cameras on the property are for the front and back pastures to check on animal safety, there are no cameras on the cabin.Other things to noteThe sunsets and star gazing from the house are breathtaking!The views! They are amazing from all areas of the house. Directly out the living room window you can spend all day watching the goats, pigs and chickens play or just stare at the picturesque mountain ranges. The front yard looks directly into our pasture with several horses grazing the day away as well as 180 degree views of the Sequoia Mountain Ranges. You can choose to relax and sit on the deck all day gazing at the beauty or spend the day hiking the trails and exploring Sequoia National Park, a short 15 minute drive to the entrance, where you can see the largest trees in the world, hike to incredible heights at Moro Rock, view authentic Indian paintings & artifacts at Hospital Rock, or play in the river.The property is minutes to Lake Kaweah which offers boat rentals, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing or just enjoy a nice quiet walk around the Lake. It is a short drive to downtown Three Rivers. Come enjoy the original farmhouse, located at the entrance to our 8 acre oasis in the quaint town of Exeter, Ca. Our property includes the farmhouse, the main house (where the owners live), a barn and a beautiful one acre pond. The pond, barn, horses, chickens, etc. are just a short walk down the gravel road from the farmhouse. Enjoy anniversaries, friend trips and family time away from the city. Birdwatchers, bring your binoculars.If you decide to leave the tranquility of our pond, you can spend time antique shopping in Exeter, Lake Kaweah, Three Rivers, Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park.The farmhouse, built in 1967 has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. You will have privacy with your own front and back yards, parking spaces, gas fire pit, horseshoe pit, etc. The house has an updated kitchen with everything you will need to enjoy your stay.In addition to the farmhouse’s front and back yards, guests have access to our one acre pond. Feel free to use our kayak or pedal boats where you will see fish and birds amongst the beautiful willow and oak trees. Make sure you take time to enjoy your morning coffee by the pond and relax in the hammock after exploring the nearby Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Parks. We have prepared the center of our U shaped pond for our guests to enjoy. There you will find a hammock and picnic table; so bring a book or picnic basket for a relaxing afternoon by the pond. Guests can also enjoy our dock for spectacular sunsets. You can also make arrangements to use the barn which includes ping pong, bumper pool, corn hole and other games.We live on the property and would love to meet our guests when we are available. At the same time, we know that sometimes our guests just want to come enjoy our farmhouse and pond without interacting with other people. Feel free to message us with any questions. We have lived in the area a long time and have a lot of tips of things to do, places to eat, etc.There is no swimming or diving allowed in the pond. Most of the pond is shallow and full of life. Guests are required to sign a waiver in order to access the pond and boats. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES! No parties are allowed. Quiet hours will be enforced between 9pm and 8am to respect our next door neighbors. Our property is bordered by other working farms, so there may be agricultural based activity and noises while you are here. We are surrounded by walnut, mandarin, kiwi and plum orchards. You will also be able to enjoy visiting with our neighbor's cattle; but please don't feed them. Next to our barn, you will find various fruit trees. Feel free to sample the seasonal fruit on these trees, remembering to leave some for future guests and the owners. Our property is in the country. There are bugs, wildlife, farm smells and dirt! We have a professional pest service but.. this is the country. We are located in the country, surrounded by fruit and nut orchards, cattle and horses. We also have some pretty great neighbors.Exeter is a cute little town with murals, a few cafes, shops and antique stores! Our favorite restaurants include: Monet's, Cafe Lafayette, Exeter Whistle Stop for Breakfast, VIP Pizza, Bellcraft Brew Co. and Frosty King for burgers and milkshakes.In between Exeter and Visalia is a small town called Farmersville. Stop there for some of the most affordable gas around. 15-20 minutes away is the city of Visalia. We love their Main Street downtown area. Fugazzis, Elderwood and Pita Kabob are our favorite restaurants there. Visalia also has Costco, Walmart, Target, movie theaters, mall, etc. 20 minutes from our property you will find Lake Kaweah where you will see ski boats, houseboats, jet skiis and camping.Three Rivers is a fun town to drive to for lunch or dinner. Some of our favorite restaurants along the river include: Pizza Factory, Sierra Subs, Ol Buckaroo, Three Rivers Yogurt, River View Restaurant and Lounge (live music), and Reimers Candies and Gifts (ice cream). We also enjoy hiking on the Skyline Trail or sticking our feet in the water at Slick Rock (although the parking lot can get pretty crowded on weekends and hot summer days).Sequoia National Park is one of our favorite places to cool off from the valley heat. Moro Rock Trail is one of our favorite hikes ending in a climb up Moro Rock and some of the best views around. It's a beautiful but winding road and actually takes an hour and a half from our property. Near Moro Rock, you will also find the General Sherman Tree and the Lodgepole visitors center.Grants Grove, Hume Lake, Cedar Grove are also some of the places we visit regularly in Kings Canyon. The drive to Cedar Grove is very long but worth it. At the end of the road you will find a loop with river access. There are places to swim, jump off a large rock and just relax. Crystal Caves is also on the way to Cedar Grove. Hume Lake has a private camp but is also open to the public. You can rent small boats, stand up paddle boards, etc. They have a small restaurant near the lake with milkshakes, burgers, etc.We have parking in the front of the house, in the garage and on the side of the house. We can even arrange for boat or RV parking if you let us know ahead of time. Welcome to Hacienda de las Rosas! We are a husband and wife team (and parents of 2 teenagers), who are new to farming! We grew up in a large city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe even some farm animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the roses and the views. As parents, our only regret is not being able to do this when our kids were younger. We are located on a beautiful 5-acre farm surrounded by olive, citrus, and walnut trees. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the farm. The walking trails to Kaweah River are just what you need!We live in the main house on the farm. The Casita is a separate detached house and 1440 sq. feet. The Farmstay has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, 2 dedicated workspaces (perfect remote working and distancing learning for students) a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We have high-speed internet (25 upload & 5 download) for streaming and zooming. We also have many streaming apps- Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hulu, and Discovery+.This farm-stay is perfect for a romantic getaway, girls’ trip, baby moon, anniversary getaway, trip to the Sequoia National Park, family trip, etc.The Casita is newly renovated to help our guests feel comfortable while enjoying all the workings of a modern farm. Please watch your step.3) The farm changes month by month and season by season. Every month is different and beautiful.4) We have great neighbors with animals-cows and horses. We enjoy them, pet them when appropriate, and respect them.5) The farm takes a lot of upkeep, we ask that you help us keep it beautiful, organized, and clean.6) Currently, we have 5 goats, 2 sheep, 2 bunnies, and 2 horses, I complicated cat. you may join us for feedings.7) We love animals and that is why we love farm life.8)We welcome pets, yet for the safety of our guests, we ask that pets not go on furniture or beds.9) Each pet equals one guest. For example, 2 adults, 2 children, and one cat= 5 guests.10) We have trail access that leads to the Kaweah River. We will provide you access, but please be careful the river gets really high.11) We provide breakfast items on the first morning of your stay.12) For the safety of our guests, we prefer if shoes are not worn indoors.
