Honestly, this experience was one of a kind! Although the arrival was surreal via our private Helicopter ride; yet, something was missing during my stay! You’ll understand soon. The resort is lovely and not old enough, around seven years ago, and located on a very awesome Island called Felicity. Most of the staff are newly recruited, and honestly, most of them are the kindest people. However, I read the news later on and discovered what happened on that island a few months ago, and that was horrible!! Then I knew what it was missing: just a touch of renovation to revive the place, maybe new designs, events, food, etc. Otherwise, I would say that I had a below-normal experience in my first Six Senses Chain experience, especially since the previous resot was Anantara Maia, which was an unforgettable one. Finally, the Spa experience was the only activity I recommend, and it was entertaining and energetic. I appreciate your understanding. I hope that my reviews will help you to choose the right place!

Wauw wauw wauw. We zijn voor onze huwelijksreis naar het Six Sense toe gegaan. Vroeg in de ochtend kwamen we aan per helikopter, geboekt via Zil Air. Wat een ervaring is dit alleen al. Het eiland Felicité is erg mooi en dat zie je goed van bovenaf. Bij aankomst stond er zes man personeel klaar. Drie daarvan was het management, die je persoonlijk kwamen verwelkomen. De overige drie haalde heel geruisloos de bagage uit de helikopter en brachten dit direct naar de Villa. We waren er rond 8.30 uur, maar konden direct onze villa in. Wij hadden Villa nr.12 en die keek erg mooi uit op Coco Island. Veel privacy, maar toch enigszins dichtbij het restaurant en zwembad. De Villa is echt ongekend. Heerlijk privé zwembad, een buiten douche, een fantastische badkamer met mega uitzicht en een schommel voor het bad. Het bed is echt heel groot en super comfortabel. Daarnaast is er zelfs een wijnklimaatkast en stond er heerlijke champagne voor ons klaar bij aankomst met een lief geschreven kaartje. Je hebt je eigen ‘butler’ die goed bereikbaar is. Bij ons was dit Rodney en hij heeft met alles erg fijn geholpen. Alles verloopt via de Whatsapp of bellen. Het internet is overal goed! Op het resort word je continue met buggy’s rond gereden. Eigenlijk als we belde, stond er per direct wel één klaar. Zeer zelden moeten ‘wachten’. Al het personeel is overigens bijzonder vriendelijk. Het voelt oprecht aardig en niet gemaakt. Het zwembad is lekker rustig, sowieso was er in onze periode een goed aantal gasten. Daarnaast kan je op het strand ontspannen, maar daar kwamen wij eigenlijk zelden. Rondom het resort, kan je mooi snorkelen! Hiervoor kan je tequipment lenen en ook kan je naar Coco Island kajakken. Voor de rest hebben wij een dag trip naar La Digue geboekt met de boot. Dit was echt geweldig! Het mooiste van wat wij gezien hebben op de Seychellen. Ook lopen hier grote schildpadden vrij rond. Zeker een aanrader en eigenlijk mag je daar wel langer qua tijd doorbrengen. Onze tip zou zijn om daar ook één, wellicht zelfs twee nachten te verblijven. Sowieso een e-bike huren! Dit kan Six Sense vooraf boeken. Buggy is ook mogelijk, maar zelf fietsen vinden wij leuker, omdat je dan meer vrijheid hebt. Er zit een erg goed restaurant (Chez Jules) op het eiland. Qua uitstraling erg basic, maar eten top! Eten op het resort was ook erg goed! Maroof Khan is de chef en alles smaakte bijzonder lekker. Wij eten in Nederland zelden Indiaas, maar wat was dit een culinaire ervaring op het resort! Er was zelfs een speciaal thema avond hiervoor en dit was complementary. Leuk initiatief! Daarnaast waren er ook thema avonden van Japans tot Creols. Wel vonden wij dit aan de prijzige kant. Zo’n €200 pp voor bijv een sushi avond, maar goed het is een eiland… alternatief is a la cart, maar voor de rest zit je gebonden aan het restaurant van het resort. Incredible stay and highly recommended An incredible stay where we were extremely well looked after by our hosts and had the most wonderful wedding. Each and every staff member was super friendly and we were extremely lucky to be blessed with beautiful surroundings, amazing wildlife and fantastic food. This is a spectacular resort in the Seychelles. There are hotel is the only one on Felicite island, which added to the experience. It can be reached from Mahe airport via helicopter or boat. The helicopter is much faster, if more expensive, and offers amazing views during the 15 or so minute flight. All of the accommodation offered are standalone villas with private pools, most offering amazing sea views although there are a couple of more secluded options. Our villa was beautifully apportioned, with large bedroom, bathroom, outdoor terrace and separate storage/ changing area. There was a TV, decent sized fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. We had a dedicated butler assigned to us - Sanjay - and were able to use WhatsApp to contact him directly throughout the stay. The island offers stunning beaches, a smallish but well stocked gym, hiking trails, kayaks, snorkelling kit, a playroom with pool table, fussball, arcade game and books, so there is lots to do on the island. Excursions off the island can also be booked for additional fees - we did an island hopping tour and La Digue day trip and I would recommend both. We also enjoyed watching a turtle nest being excavated on the island - a unique experience. There is also an excellent spa on the island and we enjoyed a lovely couples massage. Breakfast was included in our package and was very good - a la carte plus a very good range of salads, cold cuts and fruit plus fruit juices. It is served in the same restaurant as is used for dinner, although there was also a barbecue special one evening in a different area. The restaurant is next door to the bar and main pool area. All of the staff interactions were brilliant - all so friendly and professional. A wonderful experience throughout.

Toller Entspannungsurlaub Wir hatten einen spontanen Trip für ein paar Tage geplant. Sixsenses kannten wir aus anderen Locations. Wir wurden wiederum nur positiv überrascht. Tolle Villas mit absoluter Privatsphäre, toller Pool mit View. Personal und Organisation perfekt. Kulinarisch für uns Europäer vielleicht etwas mehr Abwechslung. Das ist aber das einzige und absolut auf höchstem Niveau gejammert. Super Transfer vom Airport zur Insel. Rundum ein perfekter Urlaub.
