The hotel is located on the side of the river, just in front of the tower, which is one of the main sights in Fenghuang. It's close to everything, and very convenient for sightseeing.
The downside of being just in the center of everything, is that the river facing rooms are noisy. There's a bar with live music just downside, and a lot of people passing by. But music stops around 11:30pm, so it's not too bad (they have plenty of ear plugs at the reception if needed). And the view from the balcony is great.
The room has all the modern amenities (which I was not expecting in an old town, but was very welcome) and is clean. But the best part is the staff, who were super nice and helpful too. They have great advice for visits, can help with all the tickets and bookings needed, efficient, and with good recommendations.

Excellent location though not facing river front. Hotel is inside a small lane and away from the noise and yet located where you can find everything you need from food massage, souvenir shops, food options, boat ride and the famous tourist spots of FengahuangGuCheng. Highly recommended. Thank you for hosting us.

Lovely hotel, newly renovated, beautiful view, very friendly owner. I recommend sending an email to the hotel before coming to pick up or find a meeting point, better than walking around yourself.
