COZY HIDEAWAY IN THE OHIA RAINFOREST LOCATED BELOW VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK

Quiet, well maintained property. The cleaning prior to our stay could have used a bit more focus (the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned). The beds were excellent!

Like being in tropical heaven. Property is amazing and accommodations are conducive for total relaxation. Will stay here many more tines in the future.

Excellent stay near Hilo and Volcanoes This house had everything we were looking for during our stay on the Big Island. We wanted a place close to both Volcanoes National Park and to the town of Hilo and this house fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked, the full size washing machine and dryer were great to have, and there were plenty of beach towels, blankets, and even a full size cooler to use. I was a little nervous about the temperate of the house since it doesn't have air conditioning. We stayed in late July / early August and the evenings were pleasantly cool. We had to close the windows and use the blankets at night as the evenings got down to the 60s. Would definitely stay here on again on a future trip. The host was quick to respond to the few questions I did have.

Beautiful hideaway in the rain forest If you are looking for a hidden gem, this is it. Not anything fancy or luxurious here. Beautiful rainforest surroundings. One thing, bring ear plugs, the nighttime creatures are very loud. Clise to Volcanoes National Park. Shopping needs in Kurtistown. Highly recommended for an inexpensive stay.

Beautiful setting Large comfortable cabin. Beautiful, heavily vegetated setting. The sounds of frogs and insects at night are amazing! Very private and relaxing. Convenient to sights at the National Park and the Hilo area.
