一家很有特色的摩洛哥傳統酒店，入住人不多，很安靜，酒店在老城區，很難找到停車位，如果你自駕過來最好找當地人聯繫酒店再帶你去停車場，很小的門洞，在外面你都無法想象是酒店，酒店內卻別有洞天，房間很大，但是很昏暗。值得住幾天！

Tucked behind a beautiful door in the maze of the Andalou quarter in the Medina . A painstaking renovation of a former 17th century building . Rooms and public spaces are all carefully curated to provide an authentic and luxurious feel . Breakfast was excellent and the preordered dinner superb . But the real attraction here are the staff . Friendly , engaging , helpful and knowledgeable. They make sense of the chaotic Medina and provide an atmosphere of calm and respite . Parking , luggage , restaurant recommendations, attractions, guides nothing is too much trouble . Or guide Ahmad arranged by the hotel was amazing . Our 12,000 step Medina tour went by in a flash . His English was impeccable, his knowledge of the Medina encyclopedic . We never felt pressured to buy , but were guided to items we wanted to shop for as he supported us in choice, and the ever present negotiation . If we chose to linger over shopping, drinks or lunch he adjusted the tour in real time . A true professional. An excellent stay on all levels.

Établissement magique. Personnel aux petits soins. Suites dignes des 1000 et 1 nuits. Pour les amateurs de beaux objets et de la lecture. La directrice Mme Imane charmante et disponible. Guide Chakik très professionnel. Je recommande vivement ce riad.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Zephyr room. I’m traveling with my brother so we needed two beds so it was perfect. Lots of space and a nice patio with a beautiful view. The Riad was just gorgeous. Very clean with nice amenities. It was a little humid so we appreciated the air conditioning. It is true like others have said that finding it is challenging. But they met us on the main street, carried our luggage and guided us to the front door. The service all the way around was exceptional. Breakfast was good and so peaceful in the beautiful courtyard. We also had dinner one night at the Riad, I admit they need to restock their wine inventory but we managed. 😉. I’m vegan and they were really great accommodating me which I never expect and always appreciate. Extremely friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. They truly made an effort to make us happy and they certainly excelled in that accomplishment. We will definitely be telling our friends traveling to Fes to stay at Riad Karawan and are confident they will be as happy with their stay as we were.

I visited for my 50th birthday and this venue definitely didn't disappoint. Bushra and the front desk team did an excellent job in being efficient, friendly and welcoming as you would expect from this class of establishment. The Riad, a former harem, is beautifully appointed and the rooftop terrace is stunning. The hotel put rose petals with 50 written on my bed which was a lovely touch, particularly given that our previous riad Algila had done nothing! The breakfast is truly exquisite and our rooftop suite was beautifully appointed - we felt like staying there for the whole trip! It is a real oasis from the madness of Fez. We also had a very romantic dinner, although I feel portion sizes could be slightly bigger. The hammam was also a lovely experience. Thanks very much to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

JUSTE EXCEPTIONNEL ! Par où commencer ? Nous avons été accueilli dès notre sortie du taxi pour nous accompagner au Riad. Après avoir mit un pied à l'intérieur, nous avons été subjugué par l'atmosphère chaleureuse & intimiste à la fois ! Le personnel est au petit soin et toujours disponible pour nous aiguiller au mieux dans notre séjour : bagagerie, délicate attention pour nos repas et petits déjeuner, ils parlent très bien Français, un téléphone vous est prêté afin d'utiliser internet durant votre sejour... Ce lieu est rempli de charme au détour d'une ruelle calme non loin de la médina. Toutes les activités peuvent être faites à pied ou en petit taxi très facilement. Nous sommes venus pendant le ramadan, mais l'accueil des Marocains a été plus qu'à la hauteur, restaurants ouverts et ville vivante. Un grand merci à l'équipe du Karawan Riad !!
