B&B Isola d'Arno

I stayed here for a week, and enjoyed it all! The location is excellent, within short walking distance to most major sights, yet very peaceful. The B&B feels very much like a ”home away from home” (although better equipped than my home : ). The rooms are airy and spacious, the large bed very comfy and the bathroom in mint condition and quite roomy. The common lounge area / breakfast room, together with a lovely terrace, offer an attractive space in which to relax. The breakfast buffet was very good, with some local delicacies, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 6 nights -end of September/start of October. The team couldn’t have been more helpful in dealing with requests or highlighting places to go. Excellent breakfasts and a lovely roof terrace to sit on when weather sunny. Rooms and breakfast area were very clean. Rooms are charming, with modern en-suite. Close to all major tourist attractions so easy to walk around the city. Would stay here again if we were to return to Florence.

Bellissimo b&b, consigliato a tutti. I ragazzi che lo gestiscono sono gentilissimi e la posizione è davvero ottima, vicinissima a Santa Croce e in 10 minuti dal Duomo. La camera era molto spaziosa, ben arredata e comoda. Colazione buonissima e abbondante. Ci tornerei senza dubbio.

I could not write a better review of this place! We loved our stay here! The room was perfect, very spacious and comfortable. The staff could not have been nicer, letting us drop our luggage off early and keeping it after we check out. The breakfast was delicious as well! Lastly, the location could not been more perfect. 5 minutes for the Uffuzi, 15 from the market, you could walk anywhere! To top it all off, there is a wine window right across the street!

Ideal small b&b to enjoy Florence. The hosts were so charming, the rooms spotless and comfortable, the breakfast selection delicious. The Nonna lemon torte was my fav! In the neighborhood is the best gelato, a market, a few osteria, leather shops, and Santa Croce. A short walk to the Uffizi, a longer but enjoyable walk to Mercato Centrale, close to D'Arno river. Great location to explore from.

We stayed 5 nights at this very well run, modern B&B in a 16th century building, just 2 blocks from Pontevecchio and the Ufizzi gallery, so you can’t beat the location. Our room was great, very comfy King sized bed, work table, security safe and spacious modern shower with lots of hot water and a bidet. The breakfast was the best we had during 5 weeks in Italy - great selection of meats, cheese, pastries, yoghurt, olives, bread, fruit (fresh and poached), great cakes ( if you like that for brekky) and 4 juices selection. They also make coffees on request. The weather was good enough for us to eat outside on the communal rooftop balcony each day. We also played cards and listened to music there a few times during the afternoon over a glass of wine. Lorenzo was a good host, very friendly. At night it can get noisy from the bars, so we kept our window shut. This is a top notch B&B, well worth the money.
