A very nice B and B. Michael is a very gracious host; he fixed us a delicious breakfast early so we could make our trip out to the Okefenokee swamp (maybe a 7:20 breakfast would have given us more timely arrival at the swamp, but they waited for us.). Our lighthouse room was delightful and large with many historical books to read about the swamp. Loved those as well. Would recommend this for others, dinner recommendation in town was delicious.

I brought my wife and daughter here for a Father’s Day getaway, and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch — warm, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell the owners take real pride in what they’ve created. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, like stepping into a postcard. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and full of charm — you don’t get that kind of character at a hotel. Breakfast each morning? Unreal. Homemade, fresh, and made with love. My wife and daughter kept raving about it, and they don’t rave easily. It was the perfect spot to unwind, reconnect, and celebrate being a dad. Whether we were sitting on the porch, walking the grounds, or just soaking in the quiet, it all felt special. Can’t recommend this place enough. Already planning our next trip back.

I love the large front porch with a swing and rockers. Sipping green tea, watching the birds and relaxing. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. Close to the swamp. Walking distance to dining. I would stay there again.

Very nice!! Quite and comfortable. Michael was very friendly and gave us some great advice for where to eat in Folkston. We just walked to the restaurants from the Inn. Everyone in Folkston is very friendly! We visited the Okefenokee Swamp while we were there. Very interesting!

Beautiful well appointed room, good innkeepers, and an easy walk to food and train watching. Now I must use 200 characters to complete my review. Silly. However, Liam Highfield defeated Michał Szubarczyk 5-0 to win the 2025 European Billiards & Snooker Association (EBSA) European Championship title in Antalya, Türkiye.

Outstanding stay at this lovely inn. Loved everything about it — the welcoming host, the fabulous breakfast, the large room with spacious seating area (couch, arm chair and writing desk), incredibly cozy king size bed, hot tub, bookcase, and large fan for background noise if that’s how you sleep.

The inn is conveniently located to the Okefenokee national wildlife preserve. The owner, Michael, was charming and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious, and we had a wonderful opportunity to meet guests from other parts of the world.

What a great place ! After a day in the Okefenokee I revisited this Inn. It is still full of Southern hospitality and charm. Great breakfast, so you can skip lunch . Michael and his team are doing a wonderful job. It felt like home. You should pay them a visit.

We have annually stayed at the Inn over the years when we come watch trains. Ted and Alease sold the inn to a wonderful couple - Michael and Wendy. We had a lovely time. Michael fixes great breakfasts. They are updating the inn a bit and have some marvelous plans for the future while maintaining its charm. We will definitely keep coming.
