Mar Hotels Playa Mar & Spa

Playa Mar & Spa est un superbe hôtel que je recommande! Il est propre, bien entretenu. Le personnel est très sympathique et a toujours le sourire. Restaurant très agréable et buffet bien garni et varié, serveurs très agréables également. Nous y sommes allées fin avril/début mai, l'hôtel était calme et propice au repos. Très jolis extérieurs et spa.

We travelled in April 25. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel and its staff members. We stayed in a premium suite where I had requested an enclosed garden, we backed onto the play park and the garden was enclosed. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. They were cleaned everyday, this was a real highlight and not something I expect even from 5star hotels. The hotel is small which makes for a very friendly feel. The staff work incredibly hard. The weather wasn’t perfect, but this was to be expected in April. The indoor pool facilities were fabulous when the outdoor pool was too cold. We prefer quieter resorts, which this was. Literally across the road from the sea and a beautiful 15min walk to shops and restaurants. The food was lovely, lots of options. The themed nights were also lovely. I’ve stayed in many hotels and the food was some of the best quality I’ve had. We had an emergency while we were at the hotel of which the staff came to our aid and got us an ambulance for our son. The care and treatment of the staff was just amazing. They accommodated our stay when we had to stay for an extra few days (even though they were full). They absolutely really cared for my son and our situation. I fell in love with Pierre Pollensa and the Majorcan people. Some of the friendliest people. Special thanks to the staff, a complete credit. Thank you to cova hotel manager and stefan! There were lots of other team members who helped us that night and asked about our son in the days after, I’m so sorry I don’t know your names. Thank you! We will absolutely be back. A home away from home xx

Our first time in Majorca and we are so glad we chose this hotel. A lovely warm welcome, beautiful reception area that smelled divine! I really loved the planting, ponds and general feel as some hotels are full of concrete and don't think about the soft landscaping. Everywhere was immaculate and cleaned regularly. Staff were always friendly and really attentive - especially the amazingly efficient bar staff in the evenings who regularly offer table service. The animation team are fab and great humour and enthusiasm from Andrea and Sammi during the daily activities. The food and drink options were good and highly recommend the fresh pasta station where you can choose pasta and sauces cooked to order. My only niggle with the food was that the puddings weren't quite to my taste but everything was always beautifully presented and replenished. We had a premium family suite on the ground floor and it felt spacious and clean with the outside area a real sun trap in the afternoon. The double bed in the living area wasn't as comfy as the main bedroom beds and we had to use the sofa for one of the beds instead. However, the hotel were great to set up a sleeping area on the sofa and provided extra duvet etc. Room was always cleaned excellently each day and small gripe was that the bathroom area isn't very private and felt like this could have been improved with an extra door. I also loved the location of this hotel too as its just off the main ***** in port de pollenca so it feels private but only a 5 min walk to the sea and main part only about 15 min walk away. The hotels on the main ***** felt too open for my liking so I like the privacy of playa mar. It's a great hotel and I would love to return one day. Highlights: location, staff, service, ambience, food choices Areas for improvement: evening entertainment a bit samey with lots of singing acts.

Excellent resort , everything was 10 /10 Food amazing so much selection , rooms massive with kettle fridge tea and coffee , cleanliness amazing , pool clean with lost of slides and best of all cocktails perfect thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely return

Wow so this is our second time visiting the hotel and we will 100% be coming again next year. From the bar staff straight through to the entertainment team there all absolutely amazing. A massive credit to Sami for making our experience again the best. The hotel is absolutely stunning, amazing food and overall somewhere that makes you feel as though you’re at home! See you again in 2026! :)

The rooms are basic at best, the pool is full of moss and the food came out raw on three separate occasions within four days and made me and my whole family ill I have spent more time on the toilet than in the sun, there is nothing do whilst here, the snacks are minimal and absolutely disgusting, and the entertainment is rubbish wouldn’t recommend anyone to come as we have had the worst holiday that we have ever had.
