Tuve una estancia fantástica! La habitación estaba impecable muy limpia, el personal fue increíblemente amable . El desayuno muy completo y la comida espectacular . La playa muy bonita en frente . La piscina espectacular. Recomiendo para tu próximo viaje !

Get a brew for this, it's a long one. Just got back this afternoon and after reading all the negative reviews we did not want to come at all. Travelling to Menorca with anxiety that we were about to have an horrendous experience. However we've had the opposite. A wonderful stay! That being said , the hotel is not a 4 star, maybe a 3 at best. It was clean but could certainly do with some loving care, I would go as far as saying it needs to close for a season, have a few hundred thousand pound pumped into it across every aspect and make it special over the course of a year as the place has so much potential. This would be a family favourite for sure. Location is remote and quiet but absolutely beautiful and it's perfect for families. My issue is it's not value for money. For what the hotel is, the price should be a little lower. Loved Fornells and it's a Shame because unfortunately there's no other hotels to choose from so will have to look elsewhere in Menorca. Staff were fantastic although it felt they are massively short staffed and doing too much. Almost felt like the hotel had gone from self catering to all inclusive overnight and they weren't geared up for it. Pure chaos in the dinner hall, we were there for 7 nights but ate out on 4 of the nights due to that reason. On a negative, we'd paid for a sea view room and was given a ground floor room (D104). So for the sea view we had to stand up on our terrace to see it. Whereas if we had D204 (second floor) we'd have seen it from our balcony as you'd expect. When we questioned this at reception we were told we couldn't change rooms unless we paid again! How's that make sense!? Furthermore we had a terrace which meant we had to have eyes in the back of our heads with the kids or they'd be gone down the path. Our air con wasn't working either, this was reported on numerous occasions, it took until the 5th night before an engineer came, which was 9.30pm when he did by the way, not ideal. The bedding never got changed the whole week we were there, 4 of us to a room but we only ever got 3 towels and the beach towels the hotel give you on first day (at a cost) can only be changed every Tuesday and Friday which we did not like so made a fuss at reception to which they did change for us on request. (Reluctantly I may add) The water park is dangerous for kids, especially on the 3 big slides. Few injuries whilst we were there. There is also reviews mentioning pool shoes for kids cos of them cutting feet, this is a must. Don't understand how this happened but kids kept cutting their feet as mentioned including my eldest too. Just not sure where this was happening and how. If you book through Jet2 the photos they have on their website make you think the place is top notch but in reality it looks nothing like the photos. Certainly no plastic cutlery for the kids as shown and none of the double beds on the higher level at the pool as shown either and the football and volleyball areas are nothing

El hotel nos ha gustado mucho, la situación con la playa al lado era muy cómoda, el buffet, sobre todo del desayuno nos gustó bastante, la piscina para los niños es una maravilla y el personal muy amable y atentos en todo momento, seguro que repetiremos.

Muy buena experiencia sobre todo para los niños, que disfrutaron de lo lindo en el splah del barco pirata. Es un lugar sencillo muy apto para familias con niños. Mini disco de lo mejor y la playa espectacular. Si podemos volveremos..........

Fantastic holiday, all the staff were outstanding, the bar staff were polite, entertainment team were fabulous, and the lifeguards kept my little one entertained all week joining in games with them. The areas were constantly cleaned and the food was always fresh, would definitely return.

I was worried about the accommodation haven seen the reviews although I think the majority of these have been addressed and dealt with accordingly. I thought the food was lovely, no shortage of cutlery etc and staff worked very hard. The guy who cleans the pool are is non stop. All the staff were lovely. The steps and hill description in some reviews is a bit of a joke. Sure there is some but hardly climbing Ben Nevis. The check in process could have been smoother but Annie had the brains to send us for lunch first before it shut then return to get our room keys.
