Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück für den Preis ok. Matratzen gut, Etagenbetten etwas kurz. Dusche setzte das Badezimmer unter Wasser (Duschwand lose), Toilette wackelte, sehr dreckige Toilettenbürste. Neues Zimmer bekommen, Waschbeckenstöpsel fehlte, im laufe des Abends tropfte der Siphon-Mülleimer untergestellt. Mängel alle angezeigt - Personal hat die Mängel freundlich aufgelistet.

Brilliant place to stay. I was walking the Great Glen Way mainly camping. Super friendly at reception allowing me to check in early and even finding me some shampoo, thank you so much. I was in a mixed 5-bed room, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the duvet just right. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. The evening meal was great, you could choose your time. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, a very reasonable price and everything was kept topped up. I chose a picnic lunch which was substantial, I enjoyed it on top of a mountain. Well done to the whole friendly team.

Room = Bunkers for six, a bit compact but bathroom is spacious with hot shower. Breakfast = Simple but nice, eggs, bread, cereals, milk, Scottish croissant. Counter = Good and fast service. Overall = Clean and tidy up-keep, courteous staff. Situated on a hilly, cozy surrounding. 5 minutes walk to town center.

Was surprised how spacious the communal areas were. Bar available and drinks reasonably priced. Food night and morning available good value and well presented. Room was a mixed 5 bed and was very comfy bathroom was clean and tidy. 9 hours sleep

My husband and I were walking the Great Glen Way but was splitting the final days into smaller sections, using Morag's Lodge as our base. We had already stayed here last year. The accommodation is clean and very comfortable. The food is also fresh and filling (we had an evening meal, breakfast and ordered their packed lunches). The staff are always welcoming and friendly in a professional manner. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning when visiting some of the local attractions such as Loch Ness, local waling paths the picturesque villages, as the hostel is ideally located with good bus links using citylink 919 service.

Very clean and friendly environment. We had a whole ensuite room for ourselves. It's a hostel, but with a little extra. Still very quiet as out of the main tourist season. Very handy location for a rest while touring the Highlands, it also offers breakfasts and meals.

Another fantastic weekend at Morags - this place really is ‘one of a kind’! Lovely welcome, great rooms, lovely bar, chaotic self catering kitchen (when it’s busy!) what more could you ask for! I was in Fort Augustus for a fiddle festival and we met up in the bar every night to play tunes - amazing!

Love this hostel, the staff are so welcoming and the facilities awesome. It’s in a great spot, but be advised it is up a short but quite steep pathway. Only about 300m from the bus stop, not much further to the canal and Loch Ness. I had the evening meal which was very good value and tasty.
