Our property adjoins Desoto State Park and is minutes from downtown Mentone AL, Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon, and historic Fort Payne, AL. Quiet and relaxing Small and perfect size for a couple who wont be really spending a whole lot of time actually at the cabin or who wants some closeness with a partner. It was quiet and so pretty, had what we would of needed if we needed anything. The bed was so freaking comfortable and relaxing and the hot tub was perfect. We seen deer just walking along side the cabin on the right and the covered porch with swing was the icing on the cake for myself. Overall perfect stay

Short getaway This place was nice for two people but just two people. Amenities were a little short. Only 1 hand towel. Mentioned dishwasher but did not have one. Thermostat didn’t work but did have a space heater that was able to heat up the place. Was very cute and close to where we wanted to go. Think a little overpriced

My stay at Roosters Rest Overall I had a really good stay at the Roosters Rest! I booked myself a short trip for my birthday, and really enjoyed this cabin! It is so cute and cozy, and two of my favorite things was being close to the pasture and getting to see all the cows so close by and relaxing in the hot tub! My only small complaint would be that during my last night there the smoke detector went off and started beeping several times during the night, so it woke me up and I had to keep getting a broom to tap it several times for it to quit beeping. Other than that, I had a really good stay at the Roosters Rest and thought that it was cozy and relaxing!
