"Booked 2 rooms 2 nights for a family of four. Kinda disappointing with the service quality provided by the hotel esplanade. Totally unimpressed at all. Take a midnight flight and reached Perth at 5-6am. Drive to esplanade hotel ard 9-10am. Though understand that we have arrived very much early but thought that the hotel can assist in at least provide one of the rooms to freshen up. Waited 5hrs until 1350hrs before 1 room can be provided reluctantly. However I do saw reception give early access to many others who came later. Wonder if it it because I am an Asian and race card is being played to perfection to adhere to the standard timing. The swimming pool and gym were not maintained at all. And worse is the ant issues. I have left an empty orange juice glass on the table and I came back, it was filled with 50-60ants. Guess the pests control was not well managed here. Think the only saving grace is the proximity to Fremantle market, town area, and the terminal to go Rottness island. May need to rethink and strategize to continue to become one of the better hotels in Fremantle and not solely just replying on past reputation."

"Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. "⭐️ 1-Star Review Very disappointing and misleading experience. This hotel intentionally misleads guests with hidden terms and unclear policies. When I checked in, the front desk never mentioned any “terms and conditions” about cleaning dishes or taking out rubbish before check-out. There were no in-room guidelines, no signage, and no written notice anywhere about this rule. After I checked out, the hotel suddenly tried to deduct extra cleaning fees, even though I had already paid a cleaning fee through the booking platform. This is completely unreasonable and feels like a trick to mislead customers. The sofa was dusty, the floor had visible dust and sand, and toiletries were never replenished during my stay. I even covered the sofa with a bedsheet because it wasn’t clean enough to sit on. It’s disappointing that instead of improving cleanliness, the hotel blames guests for “extra cleaning.” If you value transparency and fair service, be very careful when booking this place"

"The dorm is transformed from a prison, it is super nice. Front desk helps me upgrade the room as well because now it is a slack season. Overall experience is good, but the bathroom is a bit less, i cant imagine if the dorm is full of crowds with sharing just few bathrooms. 😂"

"بعد الإقامة هنا منذ أكتوبر 2024، أستطيع أن أقول بصراحة أن هذا الفندق الصغير هو جم مخفي لمكان للبقاء. إنه مضياف رائع لصنع الأصدقاء فيه، فمساحتهم المفتوحة للتخطيط تجعل من السهل حقا للمشاركة مع الناس. الفيبي تبريد في النهار، مع اشياء متعددة تحتاج لتحقيقها - كونك في مركز فريمانتل تبعد مسافة 5 دقائق مشي على الاقدام شاطيء بايتس، وفي يومه مصيدة شمسية مجدّدة تتوفر فيها عبوات بخار بجانبها مباشرة يقع فندق قصر الساي بيروت في وسط مدينة بيرث، في حي النجوم في قلب المدينة. تبعد مسافة قصيرة سيرًا على الأقدام من بعض محلات البقشيش الرائعة مثل جاميج وأماكن المخلوقات الصغيرة. كما تقع محطة القطار والحافلات على بعد 5 دقائق سيرا على الأقدام مما يعطيك إطلالة رائعة على بيرث. في الإجمال، تشعر وكأنها في المنزل بعيداً عن المنزل."
