Excellent choix

Wow! What a magnificent holiday in Fuengirola. Our fourth time. Honest review - our room wasn't quite as spacious on our balcony as previous times but the upgraded beds were a hit. Also, the food wasn't as varied as previous holidays but still we enjoyed it for what it was. The highlight was Laila's brilliant entertainment team comprising of her, Alexandre, Franco, Isa, Maria and Paula who were equally great at giving our whole family an amazing holiday. I think that has always being super consistent. Special mention to all the staff who worked SO hard but make it look effortless and are so friendly. Andres behind the bar especially for his consistent care for our family. The lifeguards are the unsung heroes too keeping everyone safe. The 3 day cleaning of the room wasn't quite as thorough as previous times, however, reception are extremely responsive if you needed anything - just call them. Overall, a 5 star experience around lovely people and our whole party left with lifelong memories and a heavy heart.

We’ve just returned from our 5th stay at the Ilunion Miramar Hotel in Fuengirola, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. A good number of guests we spoke to were also return visitors, which really says it all. A huge thank you to the amazing Aquabar team – Lautaro, Andres, Antonio, Victor, and Daiana – as well as the other staff working there whose names we didn’t catch. They all worked incredibly hard and were always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Leila, Franco, and the entertainment team created a great atmosphere for both kids and adults throughout the day and evening. That said, the evening shows this year weren’t quite up to the standard of previous visits – a bit repetitive – though this didn’t affect our overall enjoyment. Apartments are spotless, spacious, and well equipped. Only small suggestion would be to add peepholes to the doors. Reception staff were excellent – friendly, helpful, and made sure we weren’t waiting long on arrival. The swimming pool is a real highlight – large, clean, and exceptionally well supervised by attentive lifeguards. Already looking forward to returning again next year!

Went twice last year and absolutely loved it here, (Booked for September 2025) great location, buses run very frequently, taxi rank close by, amazing shopping complex next door, The Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean, very handy to have a launderette on site, and vending machines, Really cant wait for September to come!

Great Family Experience, but Some Room for Improvement Overall, we had a great experience on our return visit as a family of six (2 adults and 4 kids aged 5, 7, 9, and 12). The kids' entertainment was a highlight—big thanks to Franco, Natalia, Maria, and Isa who were fantastic with the children and always friendly and helpful. Much appreciated! Rooms are now only cleaned every three days, which was fine, although something to note. I asked for an extra pillow as one wasn't quite enough, and it was provided with no issue. The main downside for us was the price of drinks at the bar. A pint of San Miguel was €6.20 and a small mineral water €3.10—noticeably more expensive than nearby places. When you're buying for a group, it really adds up. The night entertainment could use a bit of variety. We noticed a lot of the same acts and didn’t find them particularly engaging—but that’s just our opinion. All in all, still a very enjoyable stay and great for families.

Avoid like the plague, gone very expensive for drink and food , service is appalling waited 45 mins for a pizza one of the days ,
