Find 3-Star Hotels in Fukuoka

Can’t ask for a better location as the hotel is literally at the exit of Hakata station and had 2 Family Mart downstairs. The room was very spacious at 18m2 with ample space for a suitcase and had a massage chair in it. There was a lobby area with free coffee for guests to relax in. Service was ok, we didn’t have much interaction. There is no noise from being near a busy station at all. The only issue was the housekeeping as we would find our disposable empty coffee cups and other trash still in the room though we requested for garbage or housekeeping to be thrown away.

Since it is located inside the station, it was very convenient to move around Hakata Station or to the airport. The luggage compartment was very spacious, so I could store my carrier and all the bags and clothes I was carrying, and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the shower room and bathroom were cleaner and bigger than most business hotels. Considering the price of 20,000 won on weekdays, I think it is the best accommodation! However, since there may be people snoring due to the nature of the public space, I recommend that those who are sensitive to snoring reconsider.

This hotel is incredibly convenient—Hakata Station and the main bus terminal are just across the street. There are several restaurants nearby, including my favorites: Ichiran and Starbucks, both right next to the hotel. The breakfast café has a casual, cafeteria-style vibe, but it was very welcoming. Even when we came back late, they still offered a self-service coffee, tea, and water, which was a really thoughtful touch., though I’m not sure if it’s open 24 hours. We were able to bring back dinner and eat it at the café, which made the experience feel even more heartwarming and comfortable. The room was spacious and brightly lit with fluorescent lighting—something refreshingly different from the dim lighting in many other hotels. The service was excellent. One memorable experience I had was when I accidentally left my brand-new bag on a city bus. A female staff member named Ms. Uemoto/上本 went above and beyond to help me—she spent about half an hour on the phone coordinating with the bus company and gave me clear directions to their office. Thanks to her help, I was able to retrieve my bag. I’m truly grateful and appreciate her kindness and dedication. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukuoka, and I’d happily stay here again.😊

The room is a bit small but it's good enough if you're not planning to stay in the room the whole day. Afterall, we come here to travel, right? We totally love the fact that someone is coming to clean every day and they help us change a new towel and sliders. Breakfast is free and delicious. They serve rice burger. Just not sure if you can only get one per day? As a day I felt super hungry lol Staff are also very nice.

Location is great. 1 min walk to the underpass and it’s linked to many restaurants and mall. It’s a small hotel. Room is small but spacious toilet. Bathtub and standing shower available. We like the toilet. The only issue we had was seeing a dirty cloth left by housekeeping in my room AND it was on top of my open luggage which my clean stuff was there. I was upset and called the front desk. The staff came up as he could not understand what I was saying. * The staff are not good in English. In the end I passed the dirty cloth to him. I took taxi 2 way from hotel from airport and it’s around 2200-2400 yen each trip. Overall, we had a good stay as the bed was comfortable too.

Tokyu Stay Hakata is located around 5-10mins walk from the Hakata Station, making it in a convenient location. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room is also of a decent size for Japan’s standard. The service at the reception is also very good and they can communicate very well in english and helpful. No drinking water was provided in the room and apparently you can drink from the tap if you are ok with that. There is a Family Mart nearby anyway, if you want to get bottled drinking water. The main problem we had was that there is a train track next to it, so everytime the train passed by, there’s the noise. Definitely going to be an issue for light sleepers. The train is from 5am-midnight. They can provide ear plug when requested.  The breakfast was very basic and the same for the 2 days we were there.

Everything was frictionless! Convenient location where it wasn’t hectic, staff was always helpful, cute little touches like welcome wine every evening and delicious breakfast offer. The only thing I wondered if it could be improved might be the lounge amenities. But depending on your usual clientele maybe this suffices.

Iron available upon request. Coin laundry available. Special discounted 🅿️parking rates at 2,000 JPY for nearby parking complex (paraca) or limited 4 parking spots in front of hotel. 5min Walking distance to bus stop that connects to Hakata station and 10min walk to Yatai stalls that are beside Canal City Mall. 5min walk to Kishida Shrine subway (on main line). 2min walk to Shopping arcade with lots of massage spots, Daiso and restaurants. 1min walk to 🛍️Don Don Donki straight ahead from hotel road.

It was quite a pleasant stay. I arrived on the morning flight and conveniently dropped off my luggage. The hotel's proximity to the subway allowed me to easily walk throughout Tenjin. Its location near Lawson, 7-Eleven, and 24-hour dining options like Sukiya was also very convenient.
