Fuzhou Gulou District Hotels

Dongbai Lanes is definitely a great location to stay in Fuzhou, next to Sanfang Qixiang with great access, shopping mall & great restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms were beautiful, spacious & amenities were good including breakfast. Only challenge no Concierge or the reception staffs who try to help have limited capabilities for foreigners. Nevertheless still a great hotel to stay.

The room was fine, pretty average for a hotel. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. The heat was on in the hotel and even though I had my room heat off, it was still 25° in my room. The room AC and fan didn't work (which means the hotel probably had it turned off) so the room couldn't cool down at all. The breakfast buffet was typical. Sometimes the food was hot, sometimes not. The dining room was quite small for the amount of people there and the tables weren't cleaned quickly enough for people to sit down right away. My biggest complaints: The smell of cigarette smoke entering my room because someone was either smoking in their room or in the hallway. (Seems there are no rules about not smoking in the hallway.) I couldn't leave the ”do not disturb” button on to take a nap in the afternoon. The desk called my room, my phone, and texted me to say they wanted to clean the room. I left the room each day at various times (when I turned off the sign) and yet they always disturbed me anyway. It's not a bad hotel, but I wouldn't stay there again. I didn't feel welcomed and I felt like I was in the way of their jobs. I never felt comfortable or relaxed because I always felt like I had to leave my room before a certain time.

Great location great hotel! Staff can't speak English. Beds were so soft and comfy. Rooms were spacious. Laundry room is excellent with dryers, washers and steamer. When we didn't retrieve our clothes in time, staff helped us fold some of our laundry and placed it all in a bag. Love that there were non-smoking rooms. Finally can sleep without the lingering hint of smoke in my nostrils. So close to the mall and the cute pedestrian zone. Tons of options for food and shopping. The hotel provides you with so many water bottles! Really appreciate it as this city gets super hot.

Fantastic stay! The hotel's location was perfect; we could easily walk to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. It was such a plus not having to rely on taxis or public transport. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Considering the price, the value was exceptional. Definitely worth booking!

Facilities: Lobby, rooms are luxurious and stylish. But the room is smaller and there are more unnecessary cabinets, which affects the space for suitcases. Hygiene: Very good, everything is clean. Environment: Very good. It's very convenient to go anywhere. There is May Day Square nearby, and the flag-raising and flag-lowering ceremonies are worth watching. Service: Very attentive. Especially Mr. Kevin's reception in the lobby was very warm and cordial. Thank you so much.

Need to walk abit to location with shopping, food and sight-seeing experiences. Dryers need an upgrade as there’s queue after efficient washing. Overall, a good and happy stay. Thanks!

The lake view room has a great view, and the West Lake Park wooden plank road is right in front of the hotel. The hotel has a strong reception capacity and is responsive to requests. From the front desk to the room service, it is very warm. Thanks to the front desk for helping us change rooms, and also to Li Wei and Wei Jinhuo from the housekeeping department for their enthusiastic service. The hotel pillows and mattresses are very comfortable. We stayed for three days, and it was the most comfortable three days of my trip to Fujian. The breakfast is rich, and there are different breakfast dishes every day. Every day you can taste Fujian specialty tea, as well as various snacks. We feel that it tastes better than outside. Recommended

We stayed here for 4 days and it exceeded our expectation. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities, including the complimentary Wi-Fi and well-stocked minibar, were top-notch. The location is perfect – close to major attractions but tucked away enough to provide a quiet retreat after a busy day. I also loved the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious vegetarian breakfast with a wide variety of options. The customer service was exceptional. The staffs, Ashley (Front Office Manager), Roy Huang(Guest Service Manager) and Eric (Guest Service Manager) went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, from offering personalized recommendations for local sights to accommodating special requests promptly. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a combination of luxury, convenience, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

The hotel is very new, giving people a fresh and bright feeling. The decoration design of the whole hotel is simple and generous, yet warm and comfortable, making it unforgettable. Xiaodu smart assistant helped throughout the whole process, which can be easily completed through voice commands. The washing machine and dryer equipped on the floor further reflect the humanized design of the hotel. For guests traveling long distances, they can wash and dry clothes at any time. The geographical location is also an advantage of this hotel. It only takes ten minutes to walk from Sanfang Qixiang and only 3 kilometers to Shangxiahang. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient, and it is easy to take a taxi or take public transportation. Highly recommended to friends who plan to come to Fuzhou!

The room is colorful, the little fairy likes it very much and can't wait to jump up 🤩 Of course there is also my favorite tea. The tea tray is fashionable and unique, very characteristic of Fujian tea country, with rock tea at the top. The next day, the baby didn't want to go out. He actually fell in love with the gym, the laundry room, and the noodles delivered by the robot. The little fairy ate them all. The waiter kindly brought children's bath towels, toiletries, and a children's skin care set! It can be seen that the hotel is newly opened, and the waiters are a little bit jerky, but their awareness and service are very positive and enthusiastic 🤗 There is another point that I highly recommend. There is a hot spring in the city hotel. It is a real hot spring, which is very rare. It contains silicon. The little fairy likes it. I also took a bath the next day. It was comfortable. It is suitable for soaking in the hotel, micro-vacation, and traveling without crowds of tourists. It is worth coming again.
