Was a great stay on a villa in the jungle, very comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was amazing and the owner and his family are very hospitable and nice.

Прекрасное место для отдыха. Чистые просторные номера, вкусный завтрак, шикарные виды, бассейн. Все, что нужно для хорошего и качественного отдыха. В улучшенной вилле есть ванна с видом в джунгли, однозначно рекомендую отдых в отеле!

The Jungle Loft and specifically the peacock villa is very very beautiful. It's quiet with much nature in the surroundings. We enjoyed the gardens and the animals. Although we arrived quite late, we were still able to dine at the lodge. It's mentioned before...the quality of the food is fantastic. The pool is lovely and the service explicable, both Indika and Praneeth.

A lovely but expensive stay
We had a lovely stay here but not without issues. The place itself is lovely, the staff were great and very welcoming.
We opted to go for the premium room with the outdoor shower however on arrival we had a loud and leaky AC unit. We spoke to the team and they were unable to get spare parts to fix it because of independence day which was incredibly annoying as all night it rattled and droned. It was incredibly hot and the owner suggested we had it on high heat and low breeze to try and make the noise better but unfortunately this wasn't possible.
The following morning we were offered a smaller room as a swap however this wasn't what we wanted to book so left us in a very difficult position. In light of the issues I looked back at previous reviews for this room and I was incredibly annoyed to see that this issue was noted in November and clearly nothing had been done to fix or rectify the issue since then as the uploaded images were literally identical to what we experienced, even the same error code on the digital display!
The breakfast was nice but not the best we had during our two week stay in Sri Lanka and on speaking with locals they also said it was quite possibly the cheapest breakfast that could be made which was also a shame to hear.
We had a great time at The Jungle Loft, the location was quite which was nice however I would say it is incredibly incredibly expensive for what it is and on this basis I wouldn't be able to fully recommend it.

Our stay in the Jungle Loft in Galle was nothing short of PERFECT! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine kindness. The place itself is stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Waking up to the sound of birds and the monkey climbing up the trees was incredible. The pool area was fantastic, and the entire property had a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The staff/ owners went above and beyond to make our stay special! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh local ingredients and a great variety of options. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had while traveling, and we would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so so much for an unforgettable stay!

Location: 4.8/5 (away from the main city by around 10-15 mins in a Tuk Tuk. Rooms: 5/5 (Jungle Loft - Monkey Villa) Very well done up and Neat. A lot of space in the rooms and you will enjoy opening the French doors everyday to enjoy the birds and greenery. Host: 5/5 Friendly and kind. Indika was very friendly to talk to and has been a good host. The property is built over a period of time by Indika and Alex. It's a beautifully done up home with simplicity - which we loved. They can cater to Vegetarian guests (Indian especially) if you love Sri Lankan cuisine. The String hoppers we had here were the best I had in my entire stay in SriLanka( a big big thanks to Indika's wife). Hot water in the shower is perfect. The tub has a lovely view. You will love the birds chirping around during the day. We were blessed to have 0 mosquitoes in the room during our stay. Note: it may take a little time to get a tuk tuk. Home- Galle & vice versa: 600LKR (pick me app) Dont pay more than 800

We felt so welcomed, the hospitality was unmatched & the villa is truly an art of work with every detail being artistic and thoughtful! It was right in the middle of the jungle we saw monkeys iguanas cows and lots of birds The pool was also a really nice addition and the breakfast was so delicious Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it was a unique experience

+ • beautiful wildlife, animals which I’ve haven’t seen before like mongooses. Monkeys, lizards as well • bath is really cool, you can open the window filling unity with nature • delicious local breakfast • wine is available, homemade curry is delicious • Team is trying their best to help with request. Our fan made awful noise, they fixed it. Gave me lighter and incense sticks - • The villa’s name on Airbnb and maps/other platforms differs. It’s listed as The Jungle Loft, but the price on Airbnb is noticeably higher. • Staines on the pillows (boticed them only because linen was wet and has to be changed), cheap bed linen • Toilet with a transparent door, feels like you’re exposed • No spare towels, at the pool they suggest reusing yesterday’s ones • Weak Wi-Fi • Ordered spring rolls from their menu during the day, were told they’d be ready in 50 minutes (already a long wait). After 50 minutes, the food wasn’t ready. Waited another 10 minutes, then were told it would take another 10. In total, it took 70 minutes for spring rolls, and they only appeared after an Uber Eats courier arrived (surprise!). Why not just say they don’t cook themselves?! • Messaging on WhatsApp is pointless; they rarely read messages. So you should come to reception each time you have question or need smth. It may be difficult as there are stairs without lights
