Tamarind Hill

這個酒店在非常隱祕的山路之上，很多突出車都不太好找位置嘛，確實是不是很理想，但裏面的環境還算是非常不錯的，非常的具有原生態。

Led by it's very hospitable General Manager Suranjith and his warm & welcoming team, Tamarind Hill is a beautiful heritage property with peacocks, mongoose and other creatures around. The delicious food they served, especially the string hoppams with various curries including daal, pumpkin, jackfruit, fish and chicken were heart warming. Their admiral suite had a huge washroom with a rather luxurious feel to it. May to July is off session and so a good time to get good deals on room rates. If you enjoy living on heritage properties like this one you will know that they require huge maintenance and special permissions from local municipalities... everywhere in the world. If you're willing to ignore minor glitches like squeeky grand old floorboards or slightly leaky faucets, you will love soaking in the rather glorious (yet the unfortunate slavery bit...as with all such colonized countries/ properties) history of the place.

Très bel hôtel historique dont le bâtiment principal récemment restauré a plus de 250 ans. Ancienne demeure d'un amiral hollandais, nous avons pu visiter les deux immenses chambres à l'étage qui gardent l'atmosphère de l'époque (meubles et tableaux anciens ayant appartenus au premier occupant). Les autres chambres sont dans une extension construite dans le même style en formant un patio au sein duquel domine un gigantesque tamarinier. Accueil très chaleureux par un personnel très attentif à notre confort.
