Imperial Hotel Galway

Great location on eyre square and next to main tourist street. It is 5 minutes walk from sunnes department store and buses. Breakfast was great with hot and cold buffet. The rooms were huge and spacious but only a small lift so long queue to get to room

The hotel was average for what I have stayed in before. Location great but rooms very outdated for price we paid no breakfast included and parking not close. Paid €353 for 2 nights €15 each for breakfast for one morning and €11 per day for parking. Very dark lighting. Small window with not a very nice view. Horrible back alley. But a big triple room. I should have complained. But overall had a nice stay purely because of location. Food and staff lovely .

I recently stayed in the Imperial Hotel and I am glad to say that it was excellent as always. I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions and it just gets better and better. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious overlooking Eyre Square. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast and the staff were excellent as always. The Imperial Hotel is my favourite hotel in Galway and I cant wait to return again!

We stayed in the Imperial hotel as a group of 3 life long friends. We were due to stay for 2 nights but had to change our plans due to a red weather warning.It would be hard to find fault with this hotel. Even though we arrived early, we were able to check into our hotel rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet.All the staff are so friendly and welcoming with time to chat to guests.The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city.Beds are comfortable and lots of fluffy towels and hot water. Breakfast was really nice and tasty.Unfortunately we had to go cut our visit short due to extreme weather warnings. When we spoke to Leona about our dilemma this morning, she immediately re imbursed us without question or difficulty. This was much appreciated. We will return to this hotel to complete our un finished trip to Galway .Many people in the hospitality industry in Ireland, could learn a lot from how the staff carry out their work at the Imperial Hotel, Galway. We can't wait to visit again.

This hotel is a gem. I booked it for 3 people sharing and was limited in Galway for this time of year. The room was so spacious and exceeded my expectation. The staff couldnt have been friendlier and considering the location with a big wheel and carousel from the Christmas market outside its front door, we couldnt hear a thing in our room. Will definitely return to this great value hotel.
