Travelodge Newcastle Whitemare Pool

It has been a wonderful experience

This hotel is on a main road and nothing can be done about that, however the dual carriage way is currently closed overnight, so not only access is difficult after 8pm long diversions from one direction, the other way in you are guided in by a convoy vehicle. There is constant construction noise from the road surface being replaced including a constant beeping (like van reversing all night.) The hotel does know about it, how come there was no warning upon booking? I could have easily stayed at another Travelodge location nearby. Plus the car park was full of white vans to do with the resurfacing, making it tight to park. Add to this hotel is well out of date, did you know some locations still have actual keys and not key cards? This location does it shows how old this location is and how long since they have don a serious refurb. It also awful shower pressure, Bedroom clean but sparse. Worth no where near what they are charging per night even without the current construction noise.

Mark was very helpful and would definitely make a great manager at this travel lodge and we enjoyed our stay ................................................................................................................

Friendly and helpful staff. Good room, comfortable bed and plenty of brew kit. Would recommend and return if in area again.

Comfortable beds great amenities and a fantastic receptionist called dawn who made sure everything was tailored to our needs.

Hotel is disgusting, it smells its run down its old Has no air-conditioning No seats Rude reception at night. Hotel is noisy
