We had a wonderful week at the Harmony Boutique Hotel. Everyone on the team work hard to ensure that your stay at this resort is special. The food and service was of a high standard and lived up to their five star reviews. If you are thinking of visiting Crete this is the place to go.

My partner and I just got back from spending a lovely week at the Harmony boutique hotel. To put into perspective, we had access to the all inclusive package. All and all the service was splendid. At arrival our flight was an hour late. We were supposed to get a personal transfer from the airport to the hotel. Making changes to that plan/reservation was no problem. Furthermore, when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the lovely staff who had made sure to keep their kitchen open, waiting for our arrival. Bare in mind that the time of our arrival ended being around 09.00pm. We had the deluxe room alternative, which was great. A lot of space, a great and roomy shower and lovely balcony. The room was equipped with a refrigerator that actually worked (bad experiences with this at other hotels). The facilities in whole are to be regarded as splendid through and through. Three great restaurants, thoroughly clean toilets, a relaxing spa, right at the beach and a great pool area. New beach towels were provided on a daily basis. In terms of service the staff were great. Always helpful and very keen on their guests having the best possible experience. We want to show extra gratitude to three people in particular: Giorgios the waiter who always greeted us kindly and asked about our day while providing a lovely service. Jaba, a sommelier with a great knowledge of wine and a lovely man, and last but not least Niko a bartender with incredible experience who served some of the best cocktails we have ever tried. We don't have anything bad to say about our stay at this hotel. The only remark we have is that drinks were rather often late to arrive at the table in relation to the evening dinners. Most often we would pick a wine which we wished to pair with several courses (bare in mind that you can chose to have a full five course dinner every night if you wish) only to see it arrive for the second or third course, unfortunately the same goes with water. But for everyone looking for a relaxing experience where you don't really have to think about anything, Harmony hotel is the perfect place.

This is noted as a 5 star hotel so was expecting everything to be ‘5 star’ but unfortunately it wasn’t ..very ‘hit and miss’ in some areas particularly the service from the staff. We had breakfast twice in the hotel, food was good quality . On our 2nd visit to breakfast we arrived at 10.14am fully understanding that the availability for breakfast was until 10.30am. Within 2 mins of sitting down we had 3 different staff members telling us the kitchen closes at 10.30! However it took them another 5 minutes to take our order. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was asked if I wanted some bread etc and the server came over and said I had already asked you that when you had orange juice .. he was so rude but annoyed I never got his name. We ate our food quickly and left never went back for the rest of our stay. We used the buffet in the sister hotel which was very average. We booked the double room with private pool exclusive. Room was lovely, really clean , wine biscuits and fruit left for arrival. Very modern approach to lighting etc. Pool was lovely but you only got the sun until 2pm so this is something that I wish I had checked before booking as we spend most of the day in the sun. We had to move to the main pool in the afternoon. We requested a late check out to 7pm as we had an evening flight which was agreed at a charge of 200 euros. I received 2 calls to the room on the day of the late check out asking me to pay this.. I explained that I had discussed this with one of the receptionists the day before and advised to add it to the room and I would pay at checkout ( I still had my balance to pay). It was clear that no communication had taken place on this, I was left feeling as if I was not going to pay the extra cost. During our stay there was bad weather causing a dust storm affecting the pools. It did take 3 days for the triangle pool to be cleared. There was no communication to guests on this during this time. I totally understand the storm was out with the hotels control but it would have been good to be updated. On a positive note the cleaning staff were excellent as were the porters-and the service to and from the airport was a good bonus.

Immer freie Liegen/Sitzsäcke am Strand - Kostenlose Parkplätze Zu unserer Reisezeit durften wir (gebuchte Kategorie All-Inc) alle Mahlzeiten auch an An-und Abreisetag ohne extra-Gebühr in Anspruch nehmen! Positiv: Feiner , super gepflegter Sandstrand direkt vor dem Hotel (schon ein kleines Stück weiter bei anderen Hotels: Sand-Kies, teilweise angespülter Seetang..was für ein angenehm-positiver Unterschied beim Harmony Boutique Hotel!) Wasser flach im Meer abfallend (d.h., man muss schon etwas ins Meer hineinlaufen, um richtig schwimmen zu können); Getränke/Essen wird auch an den Liegestuhl serviert - Service-Orientiertheit des gesamten Personals - Zimmergröße - Sauberkeit - Direkte Strandlage - Super-super-dick-angenehme Auflagen am Strand - sehr gepflegt - Essensauswahl ( Tipp: vor dem Buchen die Preisunterschiede zwischen den Verpflegungspauschalen bewerten -wir hatten all incl. und es - schon w/ Getränken und der super Qualität der Menüs keine Minute bereut!) - Die Möglichkeit, gute Mahlzeiten in diversen Restaurants oder am Strand einzunehmen - Getränkeauswahl ( am Strand, an den Pools, bei Nico an der H2O-Bar, in den 3 Restaurants , Rooftop Bar des Schwesterhotels in der Nachbarschaft ,...) „Negativ“ (wenn man etwas bemängeln möchte...) - den großen Spalt zwischen den 2 Bett-Matratzen fanden wir unangenehm - Geräuschpegel im Restaurant Ophelia - ich bin i.d.R. KEIN Fan von offenen (im Raum ohne Tür integrierten) Badezimmern (es gibt eine WC Tür)...es stört, wenn Partner noch schlafen möchte subjektiv sehr...aber scheint modern zu sein...keine Ahnung, was sich Architekten dabei gedacht haben... (da mir dies aber schon vor der Buchung aufgrund der Bilder bekannt war und ich das Zimmer trotzdem gebucht habe, führt es selbstverständlich nicht in die Punktevergabe ein...)

Wir waren zuerst im Hotel Corissia Beach und hatten dann ein Upgrade auf das Harmony Boutique Resort. Bei beiden Hotels muss man ganz besonders das herzliche und und immer hilfsbereite Personal sowie die Sauberkeit hervorheben. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Ansonsten ließ der Aufenthalt keine Wünsche offen. Der schöne Sandstrand, das malerische Dorf und und und.... Wir werden wieder kommen.
