The Pheasant Pub at Gestingthorpe Stylish Boutique Rooms in the Coach House

Great venue , Great Food Great Trip. We stayed here for a nearby Wedding and met with Friends. Was a great venue with evening food and Breakfast very nice. My only advice if you need a taxi staying here is to book in advance as there are not too many great.

Lovely break in the countryside! We had a lovely one night stay in the constable room with dinner. The room was clean, comfortable with a large shower and countryside views. The food was delicious and all the staff very friendly. Would recommend 👍

Excellent Clean, comfortable and friendly

Fabulous!! Lovely country pub with beautiful rooms. Mine looked out to endless countryside so was so relaxing. Cosy and warm room. I ate in the pub and had a very tasty Thai curry. Great breakfast. Sue was super friendly and customer service was brilliant.

Pleasant stay at The Pheasant Easy check in, lovely spacious room within a separate block from the pub, with a sofa. Bathroom clean and shower was a good size. Breakfast was served efficiently and was delicious. It was quite expensive but was a convenient location as I was attending a wedding in the area and every aspect worked perfectly

We stayed in the Captain Oates Room for 2 nights so we could attend a wedding at Hedingham Castle and I can't recommend enough. We arrived just before 8pm and were greeted by the landlady who was very accommodating. The room was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. Separate shower and bath, which was brilliant for my young son who prefers baths. Breakfast was beautiful the next morning. Upon opening the fridge to get milk for my cup of tea that the jug had fallen over. I informed the landlady and just as I was getting ready to leave a lovely lady knocked on the door with a fresh jug of milk and said that she would clean the fridge. When I say lovely lady, she was genuinely just the nicest person, so friendly and chatty, even advised me when I asked her if I had my fascinator on properly. Then when at home, my husband got a call, I hadn't even realised that I'd left a ring in the room, but they kept it safe for me until it could be collected. I'd definitely return and highly recommend.
