AAnonymous UserGreat location, great and helpful front desk, but house keeping was rather unclean / weird.
I was still getting ready to leave my room, wearing my winter jacket and shoes etc, when the house keeping just entered the room and started cleaning the room straight away without giving me a little privacy before i leave. I was very uncomfortable and confused at that moment.

CCurious TravellerThe hotel is in a historic building and centrally located in Ghent. It is walkable to all major sightseeing destinations.
Our room has a beautiful view of St Nicholas Church, and the square in front.
The room was quite stylishly decorated with high ceiling but the. Shower and wash basin are on the upper level. Maybe inconvenient for some people. At least the toilet is on the same level as the entrance. My room was a bit small, only suitable to have two cabin size luggage opened at the same time.
Overall it is a lovely hotel and really added to our two days stay in Ghent.

JJack_WTPerfect hotel in Gent, less than 5 minutes walk from the train station, and the Tram in front of the hotel will bring you to the center of this lovely city!
Renovations are almost finished, but even with the renovations, you won't be disturbed.

KKangAmyWow!! What a fun hotel that’s located in the middle of major attractions and the town. I loved our room and the view of the canal. Room was very well designed and bedding was extra comfortable. It’s close to town but quiet and serene. Loved the breakfast! Staff are very friendly.

GGuest UserThere are game machines in the lobby for easy waiting. The location is very good, right next to the Christmas market. I took my children to the Christmas mass. It's only a few stops away from T2 to Kenipolis Gent to watch a movie. There is a very good restaurant at the door. There is Amateur gentle 2 outside the door, which specializes in eating local special grilled pork chops. It costs 24 euros per adult and is suitable for big eaters to eat unlimited grilled pork chops. There is also an Albert supermarket next to the Ferris wheel for convenient shopping.

JJamesGreat hotel in a great location! I was situated in the front of the hotel facing the street with beautiful views of Gent’s skyline.
Lots of cafes and restaurants just downstairs and in walking distance. There was also a lot of great shopping nearby. Standard retail that you could find in most cities and also interesting shops with handmade and unique products. Also walking distance to all the sights you want to see.
Although the room is small, it was comfy.

CCowquite far from the train station but close to attractions.
a rather old hotel. the door locks are the round shaped ones. the hot water supply of the shower was not quite steady. the room is quite small for europe i think.
the plus side is they gave us the room well before the official check in time. we arrived at around 10:30 and they gave us the room right away. there is a free breakfast buffet as well (even my room choice is the most basic one).

Kkevin_mzbThe location is slightly off, in Ghent, but it is convenient to go up and down the highway. It takes half an hour to go to Brussels, Ulster, and Antwerp. The hotel room is bigger and the bed is big, breakfast is OK, cost-effective

GGuest UserThe lady at the entrance is very sympathetic and smiling. We were a little scared because the price was affordable but it was better than we expected. The building is a little old, the rooms especially the bathroom are exactly as in the photos, they are renovated. The frames are very bad but there is no problem with the heating, the room was incredibly hot, we had to turn off the heater, it is right in the middle of the center, right next to the places to visit. The hot water is nice but it flows a little bit less, in short, it is worth the money, I think it is not mediocre to stay.
