Lutwala Bungalows and Private Villa

Poor condition Room were in bad condition. Trapped animals inside of small cages. Worst experience of our Bali trip. We booked for 2 days left after a couple of hours.

We just completed our open water dive course at Lutwala Dive. It was rhe greatest experience ever and our instructor Mr M was amazing. Very professional and patient. He made the whole experience that much better. I'll definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed our short stay at Lutwala. It is very quiet and separate from the hustle and bustle of the main ***** of Gili T. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated Nemo who went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us find the best snorkeling spots! The wifi here was also great which is a huge plus because that can be really hard to find sometimes as we were travelling around Indonesia. Some downsides were that the shower did not get any hot water while we were there which made for a pretty uncomfortable showering experience. The room was quite dark there was mold in the bathroom. The restaurant was also pretty pricey for the amount of food we got, but the food was tasty! Overall we had a nice short stay! The location and the kind helpful staff were the highlight!

Great place to stay.

This was booked by makemytrip for my family vacation. Its a budget property which I was not told by MMT. So was a bit disappointed. Here are the key take aways. Location- Its on the north side of island, broken or no roads. Accessibility is a big big issue. Tough to ride a bicycle. And gets lonely after dark. South of the island that is a happening place.Tough Amenities- Good snorkelling facilities. 3 small pools. Rooms- 6 cottages. No room service, no toiletries,no blankets & no telephones in the room. Toughest part is American charging points. Cobwebs in the room.Old model AC’s No water jugs or bottles. Bathroom- Big ones but water goes on off. No shelf and no toiletries (see pic). No exhaust fans either. Comfort - cottages are like one above other.Its all wooden so whatever the guy next door does, there will always be noise at night. Since no telephones in the room then u must be prepared to run to reception all the time which is exhausting. No tumblers, cups and water kettle in the room. Breakfast - just bread butter jam fruits and some juice and coffee.complimentary Staff is good and friendly. Manager: Property is owned by some American so attitude is like ‘we don’t care’. I went to the manager for issues i faced and she was like ‘ we don’t provide, but u can buy’. Now who carries soaps these days. They don’t have adapters for charging points.management should put some money for amenities. Better to avoid !!

Quiet, well-run hotel right in front of one of some of the best diving in the world and certainly the best reef on Gili T. About 1.5km from the Main Street so not too far but not too close either. Amazing managers and staff. Great food and everything on a reasonable budget. If you’re the type that thinks you need a 500$/night room then don’t come here. Go get your IG/Tiktok selfies somewhere else. Primarily a diving based hotel so there are no drunks or parties. But you don’t need to be a diver to appreciate this gem. Recent updates and renovations just made it better as I’ve been here a more than a few times over the last 10yrs. Add the selfless Cats and Horses of Gili spirit and there you go.
