Reflections Lake Glenbawn - Holiday Park

Stayed in a new cabin with an amazing view of the lake. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The kids were so excited to see the kangaroos sitting around the cabins. The park is amazing, with so much to see and explore. Rubbish bins everywhere and toilets. Only problem we had was we didn’t have enough time but we will certainly be back soon. The area itself is absolutely beautiful. However, the 10pm curfew was not enforced whatsoever. On the Saturday night, there was a campsite that had what seemed to be a sound/Light system fit for an arena Rock Concert. It's understandable that some campers listen to music after 10pm, but this was absolutely ridiculous. Multiple complaints were made to the after hours number. The response from the lady who took the calls was very sympathetic and understanding, yet the music continued at an extremely loud volume into the early hours of the morning. We also attempted to communicate with the campsite in question to ask them to turn the music off and they responded in a very threatening manner. We were assured that the police were on their way to shut it down, but I am not sure this ever happened. No one in our campsite could get any sleep and we left the park with possible tinnitus. I'm going for a hearing test next week to ensure I have not been permanently damaged. I was shocked when I was charged the full camp rate for the two nights, even though it was such a horrible experience.

Loud music all night for two nights wouldn’t go back in peak time, lovely dam , amenities below average for what you pay for. Went there for carp muster, other campers didn’t care about those around them and was stuck between country and western music and rock both competing with loudness. Camper near us lit fire stacked it up and went to bed whilst we had 30 knot plus winds, no staff to be seen

It is such a beautiful, tranquil location. The cabins are clean and comfortable with kangaroos hopping passed the window.

Loved it all very picturesque and relaxing, but road washouts and potholes need serious loving sooner than later, I broke a caravan spring on a previous trip. The bass fishing soon made me happy though. The renovated cabins are the best👍👍👍👍👍
