貴有貴的道理,房間窗外的湖景真美,酒店邊的湖邊徒步也不錯,在房間內的佈置的早餐晚餐輕鬆自在,推薦。

Our room was lovely with a beautiful view and dining room. The jacuzzi was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The food, specifically the gnocchi and seafood platter, was just fabulous. The view from our room of the water was spectacular, I just wish the backyard had less mowed grass and more wildflowers to look at.

This place is something that’s truly magical and and you will seriously feel something that you don’t get in many places. James greets you in a kilt and when he walks you through your private retreat - you keep saying wow! Nothing is missed! Make sure you book for longer that you think as I promise you , what ever you have booked is too short. Bring walking shoes as the lake behind and the Loch in front is beautiful and the walks are easy and cater for ALL levels of accessibility!

Fabulous break in strathcona lodge 14. Fridge and freezer full of delicious food included in the cost. Top of the range kitchen with everything you could possibly need. ‘Maxi’ bar with lots of wines, spirits, beers, champagne and soft drinks (all chargeable). Property was spotless, with a beautiful 4 piece bathroom with amazing products. Upstairs there’s a comfortable bed, wardrobe and WC/sink. Outside you’ll find a wonderful hot tub and comfortable garden furniture. Highly recommend.

I don’t think I’ve stayed in a more thoughtful place. This was hotel #18 in 21 days of travel and we weren’t in the best frame of mind when we arrived. So many B&Bs and hotels do what’s best for them instead of the guest, but Glencoe House was 100% about the guests. We stayed in the lodges. Tired from driving all day in the rain, we weren’t looking forward to finding a restaurant, and I was sure that whatever food they left in the fridge (per their website) would be minimal. So very wrong. What a feast we had. And I was shocked to learn it was all included in the rate. (Not that it was cheap - we paid about $700 per night - I think the most we’ve ever spent on a hotel.) There were many choices of very delicious frozen meals, side dishes, garlic bread, desserts, cheese. Also a complimentary half bottle of nice champagne. Also breakfast foods - cereals, milk, bread, yogurt, juice, plus fresh foods to cook, including eggs, vegetables, several kinds of meat/sausages. For reasonable fees they also had a wide choice of drinks and mixers, a great selection of bottles of wine, and a selection of scotches. Beyond the food and drinks, they had prepped a fire in the wood burning stove and the hot tub on the deck was heated and ready. All equipment - kitchen cooker, bathroom fixtures etc were top notch, even the hair dryer was a Dyson. There were candles and a champagne bucket on the side of the tub. Great super king bed and linens. Full and half baths. I could go on. Everything was super intuitive and easy to use. If the owners truly want to go above and beyond, they might consider adding a reading chair to the living room, as the low velour couch was a challenge for my husband.

WOW, treat yourself once in your lifetime to this hotel - it has one of the best backstories EVER! We had a suite that was practically the same square footage as our house in Minnesota! Built in the 19th century, this place has been lovingly maintained - right down to its exquisite woodwork, plaster ceilings, and gorgeous marble. Meals are served in your room in your dining alcove and the chef comes by personally to follow up. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. Feel like royalty for at least one night in Scotland!

I stayed 3 nights in a lovely suite looking towards the Pap of Glencoe. It was an enjoyable experience. But, I think the hotel still has more potentials to unleash. I’m fortunate to have quite some experience with establishments, especially country house hotels, in this country. So, this review will hopefully be an honest take on what happened during my stay. Bear in mind that I have some dietary needs and I can be sensitive to a lot of things so it might not apply to the average traveller who’s debating if they will choose this hotel. ———— Brilliant ———— Great access to Glencoe area. There couldn’t be a better place to stay in Glencoe if your budget is fine. The view from my suite is stunning. Yeah, it’s the Pap of Glencoe, which is the hill I’ll walk/(or indeed climb as it’s so steep and boggy) during my stay. So lovely to have a peek at the top. Amazing for photography at blue hour. Staffs have good local knowledge. Weeks before I arrive at the hotel, they gave me a comprehensive list of activities to do in the area. I was able to benefit a lot from their local knowledge and wonderful advice. Things like hillwalkings, outdoor activities, local attractions, and craft shops. ———— Good ———— Dinner and breakfast are served in my suite, which is comfortable and private. Food is delicious and with wide options for different dietary requirements. Would recommend the sea food platter, the earl grey plum, or just a simple full Scottish. They have a good variety of sorbet so I can have something different each night. The original architecture is beautiful and it’s so nice just to walk around in the house. Good locally inspired details from the key to the suite. There’s a good selection of wines in their maxi bar. But you don’t have a sommelier corkscrew (knife) in the suite so I don’t know how you are supposed to open the wax/tin seal on the bottles. ———— It can be better ———— They accidentally served me butter (milk) on the first night (I need to follow a dairy-free diet and it was a little scary cause you can’t tell from the look if the butter is dairy-free or not. Luckily we caught it before anything happened). Cue: you might need to be a little proactive with your dietary needs. I really enjoy hillwalking and the place is known for its mountaineering history. It’s a shame they don’t have a dry room or some facilities to have my boots and other equipment dried/brushed. I did dry it in my room, which is very warm. The bed linen might not be for everyone, especially hot sleepers. I woke up several times each night and was sweating when falling asleep, then freezing deep into the night. Somehow it was some of the worst sleeps for me in my Highland and Island trip this time.
