Calcot Manor & Spa

Calcot Hotel has been a delightful favorite of ours over the years, and it never disappoints in providing an absolutely wonderful experience. Calcot is more than just a place to stay; it feels like a second home. The staff are truly amazing; by now we feel more like we know old friends than hotel staff! They are friendly, warm, and extremely thoughtful, and they are a big reason Calcot feels special. The food is always very good, but I have to spotlight the crab – it is fantastic. Every time we come back, we hope it's still on the menu (fingers crossed for July!). It is one of those dishes you crave long after a meal; fresh, beautifully cooked, and full of flavour. Everything about Calcot is about relaxation, undoubtedly intentional with the lovely spa, boutique rooms, ambient lounges and surrounding countryside. It's luxurious without ever being pretentious If there is one tiny thing I would love to see more of, it would be more variety in local cider. That would be the perfect tie in to really embrace the magnificent area. So many wonderful stays, can't wait to go back again in July!

Ahhh this place is just 👌🏼!! Gorgeous hotel, stunning food, and so much to do. You can hire bikes, spa, outdoor swimming pool, walks in the grounds, this place has it all. We came as a couple but will definitely be returning as a family as you get 4 hours free childcare and there’s so much kids can do. Service was excellent, thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommend!

The best spa by a mile! Beautiful interior Treatments were amazing Quality of the food was unparalleled The staff were absolutely delightful. From the front desk to the spa and the restaurant I must give a nod to Ed in the restaurant who was simply epic. Personable, efficient, wonderful humour - we all loved him! The beds were very comfortable and the quality of the rooms really did exceed our expectations I was even left a bottle of champagne and a had written postcard because it was a special occasion for me

Me and my husband stayed one night here; and what an experience we had! Everything was exceptional! The staff were so friendly and helpful, special shout out to Sarah, a casual waitress in the restaurant/bar, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and her passion was so warming! She really looked after us! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us when walking by! The food was on another level! So so fresh, local and tasty! The hotel itself was so clean and beautifully decorated, it really felt like a home away from home! The spa was also so lovely! The outside jacuzzi in particular was incredible, and again the staff and treatments were amazing! Can’t wait to come back again, and even bring our little one too!! Thank you for an amazing stay, it was just what we needed!

We visit a lot but I have never had Sunday lunch here. Visited the brasserie on Easter Sunday; the food was delicious and service was both warm and efficient from Bryn. I had a perfectly light and delicious cheese soufflé followed by a perfect roast (lamb). My daughter’s penne bolognese was also of very good standard. A very relaxed lunch thank you.

Took my friend on a spa getaway for her birthday at calcot. We had a lovely day soaping up the sun at the spa, my friend had a massage, and said it was amazing. Then went back to the hotel for some cocktails and food, the staff were great and food was incredible!! Thank you calcot 10/10
