YHA Brecon Beacons

I'm not one for going to hostels but I can confidently say that my stay was amazing. I stayed in a Landpod for 2 nights, and I can't recommend this experience enough. It felt so nice having the Landpod and being able to wake up in the morning to a lovely view of Wales, and the people were all very pleasant and the staff were awesome. Not to mention the facilities were off the scale good for a hostel, I've always thought hostels were run down, and this is the cream of the crop, it's such a pleasure to have stayed here. I spoke to my friend about going back, and will be soon organising a trip back to the YHA Brecon Beacons as it was just way to good. And the price was brilliant if anything they should charge more in my opinion, honestly a gem 💎. Recommend to your friends once you stay, you won't regret it.

Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful.

We turned up to a very warm welcome. The staff were accomodating and the whole place felt homely. This particular YHA (Brecon Beacons) had just reopened after a refurb. And itvwas great to see it was warm and wel oming with a nice fire in the common room. Couldnt ask for any more. Well done YHA for doing what you do. If you are a person who wants silver service and large rooms this isnt the place for you. However if you are looking for a friendly people, warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, meeting like minded people, amazing staff, always in the ideal setting for exploring then this is the place for you.

Great but please YHA allow an earlier check-in We stayed on a cold Sat & Sun night in December. Very warm and comfortable place. Typical hostel. Can't speak for the meals as we self catered and used the pub in Lebanus (very friendly and good food). Only gripe at the hostel is the 5pm check-in. This is too late in winter. It's dark and icy.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.

difficulté pour arriver très bon séjour mais l'arrivée à été difficile, en venant à pied par le chemin il n'y a aucune indication de l'YHA et nous avons du rejoindre la route principale qui est très dangereuse à pied. Quelques panneaux sur le sentier sont nécessaires
