The Amanruya was, as the name suggests, a dream. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and it was easily the most romantic hotel I’ve ever been to. Every corner of the hotel feels private and beautiful while maintaining a strong connection to the natural environment. The staff were particularly attentive without being stuffy or intrusive. We’d like to thank in particular Aynur for helping me organize a special surprise dinner, as well as Oya, Ibrahim, and the waiter with a great stripe in his black hair (sorry we’ve forgotten his name!) for caring for us at every turn.

We enjoyed 3 nights here after staying at the Mandarin in Bodrum. While we enjoyed both places, the two hotels offer completely different experiences and the Aman was a little more our style. The overall sense of tranquility was palpable the second we stepped out of the car and were escorted to our room to check in. Every interaction we had with the team was really exceptional. There was a genuine enthusiasm for making our stay pleasant and relaxing. Oya, in particular, made our time at Amanruya memorable. The room was quite large and had a very big private outside area with a pool. The hotel grounds were expansive with many areas to explore, including a 50m infinity pool. We often saw no other guests except at meals or at the beach. We loved the beach area and spent most of our time there, although some other people have commented on the lack of a sandy beach similar to the Mandarin. We actually liked the set up (it is sort of a pine forest on the water and a swimming area that almost felt lake-like) -- again it was super chill and quiet. There are two restaurants -- the Mediterranean one has an expansive menu and there is a sushi restaurant. We had originally planned to leave the hotel for meals, but opted to stay on the property and found the restaurants more than sufficient and quite good with only limited exceptions (the tuna sashimi wasn't that great). We would go back in a heartbeat and this was a little more our pace and style than the Mandarin (at least in peak season in August).

We booked a year ago for this place and were incredulous that within three weeks of our arrival date they cancelled our booking - totally mercenary move, they acccepted a private buy out of the whole resort and blew off all their confirmed bookings! we've used the Aman brand in the USA but never again - they are chasing the $$ and have no regard for delivering true service to their customers. There was no option for "should have gone May 2025 - minus 10 stars" or would have given that rating

Amanruya Bodrum Hotel surpassed all our expectations with its exceptional service, tranquil ambiance, and exclusive atmosphere. During our delightful three-night stay, we were impressed by every aspect of the hotel, from the attentive staff to the delectable breakfast offerings. The spa and welness center, a haven of tranquility, provided a rejuvenating experience that left us feeling pampered and relaxed. The privacy afforded by the hotel was truly unparalleled.

The most incredible experience. Thank you to the amazing staff who were the most attentive and made our trip stand out. The food at Amanruya was a highlight for us thank you to the talented chefs for always catering to our allergy needs and creating the most special birthday cake for our friend. The attention to detail from Amanruya and its staff was outstanding

So beautiful. The resort was gorgeous. The only negative to this place was sometimes I had to go and find a server. They could increase their level of service. But, would 💯 recommend it. The pool was amazing and the rooms were also great. If they increase their service, it would have been outstanding.

Beautiful property as you would expect from the Aman. Here’s what they did well. Absolutely delicious breakfast with the most perfect portion Sizes. My tofu scramble with some grilled tomatoes and fresh cucumber tomatoes on the side as I asked were perfect Staff and friendly the woman who helped us in the mornings, was absolutely spectacular and I am so sorry I don’t have her name anymore. It was a very chill environment. You could be very private, or you might possibly have a nice conversation with somebody. But people pretty much come there to chill out and stay on their own. I like how they did the nightly gift with a little information about the culture. This is something typical at high-end resorts, of course. When they knew I wanted oat milk, and so far, they made sure my room had plenty of it. The chocolate dessert with nuts, and fruit that they handmade was delicious. They knew we like figs, so we always had plenty of figs in the room. The beach was calm My only issue was that the beach restaurant closed early because someone had like a engagement or some kind of event and no one told us. So we were told to leave pretty quickly and we had just wanted to come down and order a pizza from the pizza oven since we had been traveling and did not want to do a full big dinner. We couldn’t even stay up in one of the areas to the side. They should’ve told us when we checked in, or even even before we arrived. The Asian restaurant was very good and they aim to serve me as a vegan, but I wish I had had a little more insight because they created way more food than I needed and of course then the bill was higher than I would have. It was fine. Some of the dishes were great and I would’ve passed on. Had I been told about it. I love how they were like we were going to create some special. They certainly did. If you’re looking for quiet and a secluded retreat, this is the place. Be sure to check the pool temperature you might want it turned up or turned down depending upon what you like. We’d like it warm so they turned it up. I think this is a good Aman it’s not the best, but it is a very good one. They look to employ local people , and so some of them who are working at the beach like Cleaning at the beach may not have much English but it’s great that they employ older people and people that are local. Keep this in mind.

This is a wonderful resort with individual villas with private pools spread out over a fantastic property. The villas are large and nicely furnished and the large heated pools and private gardens are sensational. The food and service are very good. The beach club area is also very nice.
