Domaine les Martins - Gordes

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Domaine Les Martins (DLM) for four nights in early July, and it was truly one of the highlights of our travels. From the moment we booked, David and Regis went above and beyond — reaching out months in advance to help us arrange dinner reservations and excursions, ensuring our stay would be seamless and special. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. The property itself is breathtaking — a Provençal dream. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, from the serene landscaping and beautiful stone buildings to the Le Labo bath products and the daily breakfasts, which were fresh, delicious, and served with care. It’s clear that every element at DLM has been curated with love and intention. One of the most unforgettable moments of our stay was the group dinner organized by David and Regis — a magical evening featuring a private chef and a shared table with fellow guests. It was intimate, joyful, and filled with the kind of connection that’s rare to find while traveling. David and Regis welcomed us with such warmth that by the end of our trip, they truly felt like family. Leaving was bittersweet, but we’re already dreaming of our return. Domaine Les Martins is more than a beautiful place to stay — it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Extraordinary in every way! Domaine Les Martins exceeded all our expectations — impeccable accommodations, magnificent pool and grounds, outstanding breakfast, and exceptional service and support. The 18th century structure is updated where it needs to be (shower and plumbing, a/c, etc,) yet till authentic in its overall feel and gorgeous design. Best of all, perhaps, is the gracious, warm and efficient service by owners/hosts Regis and David, who see to your every request and need from restaurant recos and reservations to touring itineraries, etc. Having been to Provence several times, for us there is no better choice than DLM. A stunning oasis of tranquility, elegance, beauty, and hospitality. Perfectly located to explore the hilltop villages and vineyards of Provence, with great attention to detail and customer service. Pure magic run by wonderful and engaging people.

A huge thank you David & Règis, you are the most perfect hosts. The help you offered during the planning process and during our stay was invaluable. You have created a most stunning property divided sympathetically to create the most beautiful place to stay. We loved our tastefully decorated apartment which contained everything we needed to self cater if we wished. The pool area and gardens are beautiful: we particularly loved the peaceful courtyards. We enjoyed visiting a different nearby village each day and exploring the local countryside. We certainly hope to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a 5* stay in Provence.

Truly an exceptional experience worth coming back for, we can see why Regis and David have inspired so many return guests! Every part of the experience was lovingly crafted, they have an incredible eye for detail and provide a charming, romantic escape in the French countryside. We went on a private wine tour they set up, joined the Thursday night table d’hote dinner, and also booked the picnic basket. All three were lovely experiences, some of the highlights of our trip. We will happily look for an excuse to return in the future!
