"Clean and new hotel. Abit out of the way, but taxi/private hire makes it easy to travel to places like the Gotemba Premium Outlet. Sad that hotel charged me extra 3000 yen just to change the bedsheets once (when already paid approx 93000 yen for two nights). Otherwise nice Fujisan view - must pray the sky is clear otherwise the view may be impeded."

"Rembrandt is located up in a mountain hill. The Fuji room views is nice, clean and very comfy bed. The onsen have a nice view of Mt Fuji. Is very clean and had 3 bath n a sauna. Free shuttle bus to Gotemba Station. The hotel is very close to bus stop going to Hakone or Gotemba. The service was excellent from front desk to dining room. Breakfast is great. Overall I enjoyed my stay in Rembrandt. Will be back 😃"

However, upon arrival, the hotel staff insisted it was not included and demanded an extra charge. * **The Incident:** When I went to the restaurant during breakfast hours, I was stopped and barred from entering. This miscommunication between the booking platform and the hotel created a very awkward situation and really put a damper on my morning. If you decide to book this place, I highly recommend double-checking your breakfast inclusion directly with the hotel beforehand to avoid this kind of unpleasant surprise."

"Fantastic hotel with attached onsen facilities. Service was impeccable and perfect to experience a hybrid onsen stay. Weather wasn’t great when we were there so unfortunately didn’t see mt Fuji but enjoyed the proximity to gotemba premium outlets as our main objective was to shop. Also comes with free shuttle bus from gotemba station that runs every 15 mins."

"Excellent Stay at Hotel Mars Garden Wood Gotemba We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mars Garden Wood Gotemba. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed and offered a relaxing outdoor onsen after a long day of sightseeing. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and shopping areas. The hotel facilities, including the onsen, were excellent and provided a perfect way to unwind. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Japan. We highly recommend Hotel Mars Garden Wood Gotemba and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Note to forget, view of Mount Fuji from the hotel made our stay even more memorable."
