Schöne kleine Unterkunft, sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, gepflegte Anlage.
Mit sehr wenig Aufwand könnte man den Aufenthalt noch perfekt machen (z.B. im eigentlich sehr geräumigen und schönen Zimmer Sonnenliege und Tisch auf die ansonsten fast leere Dachterrasse stellen, klemmende Türen reparieren, in die Jahre gekommene Möbel neu lackieren etc.). Insgesamt aber ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

This small and friendly family-run hotel/self-catering apartments is a great find. Jenny, the owner is very organised, warm, friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. She runs the accommodation with help from a few of her family. Our late afternoon flight was delayed by several hours prior to departure (and en route) due to stormy weather, therefore although we had been due to reach our accommodation at 10.30, we actually arrived around 2.00 the following morning. As the hotel is very small, it does not operate a 24-hour reception. Therefore, A note was left on the reception door to let us know our room number and arrangements for the key which was all as per the note. The breakfast is good for a hotel of this size consisting of bread, cereal, one type of cheese and ham and either cake or small croissants, plus coffee, tea and juice. It is served from 8.30 – 10.30 so a good timeframe to allow a nice lie-in. The small complex is as per the photos with nicely furnished outside areas around the reception/pool where you can eat breakfast. There is a snack menu serving drinks, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc. throughout the day. It is a very short walk from several small beaches where you will find around 5/6 cafes/restaurants overall at intervals opposite the beach areas. The small beach areas are very natural and separated by rocky outcrops with some having sun loungers/umbrellas owned by the restaurants and others where you could take a beach mat or your own chairs, etc. space allowing. Around 15 minutes’ walk up to the main road you will find a traditional Greek restaurant (live Greek music on some nights), a very small supermarket and a bakery also selling ice cream and where you can either eat in or buy food/drink to take away. On this road, you will also find the bus stop which has buses to Heraklion (every 20 – 30 minutes) and Malia in the opposite direction. This accommodation and area has everything you need for a week’s holiday in a resort that feels "very Greek" compared to some other areas of the Island.

A fuir de toute urgence ! Je ne sais même pas par où commencer... Concernant la localisation, l'hotel se trouve sur la ligne d'avion. Vraiment pas idéal pour être au calme. Toutefois, il est proche de la mer et de quelques restaurants. Pour le centre ville, il faut compter 40min à pied. Si vous avez la chance d'avoir un appartement avec une terrasse vous assisterez à de super coucher de soleil MAIS si comme moi, vous avez un appartement en sous sol alors vous ne verrez rien. Juste une piscine éclairé...ou plutôt une pataugeoire car vraiment petite. Concernant les appartements, ceux ci manquent vraiment d'équipement (nous avions que deux fourchettes par exemple). Par la suite, il y a beaucoup de disfonctionnements et malgré les signalements la direction n'a rien fait. Les plaques chauffantes qui ne fonctionnent pas, des lumières ou encore des prises de courants... Également, il n'y a pas de volets seulement des rideaux qui ne sont pas opaques. Sachez qu'il y a beaucoup de moustiques à cet endroit et aucune moustiquaire aux fenêtres. Pour la clim, il faut payer un supplément par jour. Pour finir, et sûrement le problème le plus dérangeant pour moi est le comportement de la gérante. En effet, elle se permet de crier sur les personnes. Elle est très loin d'être agréable ou arrangeante. A vous de vous conformer... Un conseil, pour le prix et la prestation, vous pouvez trouver mieux que cet établissement où je ne remettrai JAMAIS les pieds !

Expérience horrible ! La gérante de l'établissement a été exécrable. Pendant tout le long de mon séjour, il m'a été reproché de faire trop de bruit le soir, alors que je ne faisais que discuter autour de la piscine et il n'était même pas minuit passé. Les services de restauration de l'hôtel sont très chers pour une qualité très moyenne (ex : pizza surgelés à 9€). Les services des appartements laissé également à désirer (ex : très peu de vaisselle, des prises qui ne fonctionnent pas, des portes et fenêtres qui ne ferment pas, etc). Une option sur la climatisation à 7€ par jours ! Bref, mais malgré tout ça, c'est vraiment le comportement de la gérante qui m'a choquée : pas aimable du tout, on a l'impression de déranger, les retours des appareils défectueux n'ont pas été réglé, la gérante m'a même crier dessus un soir, car selon elle, deux personnes qui discutent font trop de bruit. Jamais je ne retournerai là-bas et je vous conseille de fuir cet endroit !

The hotel is a little oasis right next to the beach and very close to restaurants and bars in a small quiet village. It is a very good place to relax and slow down and a good starting point for many activities (hiking, quad tour, boat tour, city tour, ...). The city of Heraklion can be reached by public bus every 20 minutes (for about €1.50). The bus stop is about 400m from the hotel. The service was first class and universal and we grew very fond of the warmhearted owner. So we decided to come right back after only a few months.

Three of us arrived at 3.30 in the morning. After waiting an hour a woman turned up and showed us to a 2bed apt. Upon opening the door we were greeted with the most unpleasant smell on one of the beds it was covered in cat faeces as well as pee! She wanted to just change the shhets we insisted on another room. That turned out to be filty!! It stunk of dirt and must. The bedding was threadbare big cracks in the wall where the bugs popped out unless you left a light on. Ripped curtains broken towel rails and the shower was that small we wasn't sure if we was on the toilet or in the shower!! No air conditioning just two filty fans that blew more muck and dust. The temperature at the time was 38degrees. It was impossible to sleep. We were told only air conditioning in one bed apartments. The pool had a dark brown scum line round it the sunbeds and tables all broken and there wasn't enough for customers. The boss even took them off people if they was in the pool! The cafe part was just as bad bare wires and filty. The rules was you emptied your own toilet bin a d clean sheets once a week. A do it yourself holiday. I've stayed at basic before but never did I expect to pay for as much muck and filty. After 2 days of trying to get a rep or easyjet we gave up and found another apartment for the rest of our holidays. DON'T GO HERE. YOU CAN PAY LESS FOR BETTER.
